Great authentic Korean BBQ the Bulgogi and Galbi were both great, spicy Pork wasn’t very spicy, but good. Kimchi stew with soft tofu and egg was excellent. The KFC was also good. Great food at a fair price. Would definitely go again.

First time client and we both loved it. The food is so fresh and flavorful. I loved my squid plate and the aloe vera noodle ban chan. My husband loved the fishcake ban chan, green onion pancake and fried chicken. Will definitely have to return to try more items.

Tacowa (Boca Raton, Palmetto Park Road near Mizner), Opened 2018.

Time to cross this one off the list. Cute little Korean spot — no lunch specials, but some all-day options that work for mid-day eats, like Korean tacos (an LA import) and rice/greens bowls.

Rachel tried two tacos:

•Spicy Pork – solid flavor.
•Yangyum Chicken – fried chunks in a sweet/“spicy” gochujang glaze. Not really spicy, more sweet-leaning.

I went for the Spicy Pork Red Bowl (pork bulgogi over greens + rice). It’s described on the menu with a sriracha “yum yum” mayo on top — I wasn’t paying attention, so that’s on me. I really don’t like that sauce, so I asked them to remake it without, which they did without hesitation. Just a heads-up for others who might feel the same way.

Banchan spread was a nice surprise: fish cakes, cucumber kimchi, napa kimchi, spicy horseradish noodle salad, bean sprouts, and marinated onions.

Verdict: good first run. Will be back to explore more of the menu.

Deliciously made kimchi. The kimchi fries were incredibly tasty full of flavor, the potatoes were crispy and the melted cheese was not overwhelming just the right amount. The bibimbap was the star of the night with all of the different flavors of sides sautéed onions, cucumber salad, fried tofu, kimchi, fried egg, rice, cabbage, bean sprouts all bursting with flavor. Will definitely be coming back.

We had the veggie pancake and one chicken and one beef bulgogi bibimbap.
Food was very good and service was great.
This restaurant is located in the busy Boca’s Mizner area, so lots of traffic around it. But they have parking in the side and back of the restaurant.

As a member of flavor town, I can say this place is off the hook and out of bounds. The spicy pork anything is next level goodness that will have you wanting more, Korean bbq pork with sweet heat on a taco, in a bowl or with a ramen bowl. It’s flavor over load in east Boca and you should check it out!

The atmosphere was the best and the food was delicious!! I live an hour away from Deerfield beach but the drive is worth it. We celebrated a friend’s bday here and everyone loved the food! A great spot for after the beach (7 min away). I will definitely come back

Everything is 5⭐️ my go to place for korean food in boca. Definitely recommend everyone to visit!

I love their bibimbap, very flavorful and portion size is big. They added korean corndog recently and that was good too.

Very unpleasant interaction with a staff member. Came in and asked if the kitchen is still open for Valentine’s dinner as we came in at a later time. A young lady said “yes we’re still open” and so we seated ourselves. Shortly, another young lady approached us and told us with an unwelcoming look that “kitchen is cleaning and we’re closing in 20 minutes”. We asked politely as soon as we walked in if we can still order and this other lady said rudely we close in 20 minutes and said something slick under her breath while she was still in front of us walking away. I found that disgusting and disrespectful. Not once we were rude to both girls. We asked a simple, considerate question to dine in but instead treated rudely which is unnecessary if I may so.
We just got up and left since she clearly didn’t want us to be there.
There’s a way to speak to customers and people. The way she did, is truly disrespectful. I recommend having a hospitality training for the rude girl, she needs it.

I wanted to try something different. I had the Bulgogi tacos and my son had Korean Fried chicken (sweet and spicy). The service was great, the food was fresh and good and came out quick. We went for lunch. They have outdoor seating.
