The atmosphere here was both calm and restful. The restaurant is located on a golf course, so of course we chose to sit outside and enjoy the sun and scenery. As we came in we were greeted by our server, and she instantly made us feel welcome. My girlfriend uses a wheelchair and our server opened a door that allowed us to take a shortcut that was wheelchair friendly and brought us right out to the patio. We were both pleasantly surprised by the extra effort to take care of us. The food was outstanding, from the bread as our starter, to our appetizers, and finished with pasta was just right. The salmon fettuccine can be ordered with shrimp in addition to the salmon, which, when it arrived, turned my girlfriend’s basking in the sun into happy bounces as she started on her substantial portion. Our lunch, with tip, was $150. It was money well spent. We will be returning.

Every dish we ordered was so fresh and full of flavor. The chicken breast and steak was cooked perfectly. The pesto steak was one of our favorites. The rigatoni amazing. Fettuccine, amazing. Focaccia bread sticks, amazing. I highly recommend eating here or having food catered! I’m so glad I didn’t have to cook!

David, our server, is well versed with wines as well as the menu. Attentive but not overbearing. Food was outstanding, brushetta and home-made focaccia bread, shrimp with spaghetti squash pesto style, and chicken peperonata. Then there’s the lemon cheesecake with raspberry sauce-coupdnt be creamier. Had the Sauvaugn Blanc by Dossier on David’s recommendation to compliment both meals, literally fabulous. We’ll be back for sure!

Who knew the Adriatic Grill moved to Oakbrook Golf Course? My husband surprised me for Valentines day! All the wonderful food and service I enjoyed for years is back. I don’t think I realized just how much I missed this chef, staff and of course food until I walked in the door. It was like walking into your mother’s or grandmother’s house. You were welcomed like family. It was palpable immediately. The hostesses sat us right away even though we were quite early and the memorable fantastic service started immediately! Ashley quickly brought us waters and diet coke. She gave us the time to run thru the menu with lots of my old favorites. Huge side note the mushroom soup is still there and still absolutely the best I’ve ever had!! Same with the focaccia bread!!! Aside from the soup we ordered the Chicken Parm and Rigatoni Bolognese. Absolutely spectacular! Yes, as great as I remember! And even though we were stuffed with so much great food, dessert could not be passed up! We had the spumoni ice cream and the Cheesecake Alla Adriatic. I think it was a light ricotta/lemon cheesecake with a raspberry sauce and fresh raspberries! Heaven on a plate!!! Highly recommend! One of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Oh, and did I share the candle and roses on the table? Atmosphere A+ as well! OMG! Can I come back tomorrow? Tried to take a bunch of pics. Thanks Ashley and the entire team. Chef Bill your food is still 10 stars! Thank you again!

I was in the bar area. The staff is always friendly and fairly quick with drink orders. The kitchen food is wonderful but,usually slow. This last visit: my wife and I sat with some friends. Within minutes we had drinks and we immediately ordered food because we know it can take awhile to receive orders. This time the food was delivered in about 10 minutes.
This is a nice place to come and relax with friends, friendly staff, good drinks and food. There is a large group of oakbrook neighbors that will miss this place when they close in two weeks.

I have been here three times in the last few weeks and have had incredibly delicious meals, drinks and dessert. I love the ambiance outside on a sunny day but the real deal is in the bar during happy hour! $10 Bolognese?! One of their best dishes is only $10 during happy hour and I still had leftovers!! So yummy. Happy hour wine is only $6. Pretty amazing! Their sauces are obviously made from scratch. I highly recommend their salmon linguini or alfredo. The bolognese has so much flavor – definitely a repeat dish for me. Salad and desserts are on point, as well. I will be back!

Make your reservation! You will not be disappointed! We had our son and (now) daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner here and EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations! We live in Texas so most of the communication was over the phone. From the very beginning, Crystal made me feel so comfortable! I knew we had picked the BEST place for the dinner! EVERYONE on staff greeted us with warm, genuine hospitality. And the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend the Rigatoni with Bolognese sauce and chicken Peperonata! The appetizers and dessert were equally as fantastic! They graciously added vegetarian options to fit dietary needs of some of our guests. I could go on and on! The wedding was at Thornwood Castle. I was having trouble finding a restaurant near the venue to host a dinner after the rehearsal at the Castle. It was suggested that we have the rehearsal at the restaurant! There is a garden area similar to the wedding area at the Castle! It was perfect! WE loved it all! You must try the Adriatic! And if you or someone you know is planning a wedding at Thornwood, this place MUST be part of the plan!

First time having lunch here with an Army buddy and it won’t be my last. I had the Shrimp Tortellini with Alfredo Sauce and it was Delicious! Customer service and atmosphere was excellent as well. Great place to play golf, discuss business or simply relax and enjoy some Great food.
