We come here at least once or twice a year for valentines or other holidays. We’ve never had bad service. We usually get calamari or steak bruschetta. Both good. My husbands order of pepper crusted filet mignon with potato’s is one of his favorite meals and the reason we keep coming back. I’ve tried a variety of menu items and I like them all. I got the scallops this valentines and they were good! My violet gin fizz was also delicious.

I want to start by saying this was the most mediocre“steakhouse” I have been to in Fort Worth. I actually left mad, sad, and hungry. It was my fiancés birthday so I had reservations for 7pm, 12/13. We walk in and right off the bat there was zero order to have someone greet you. The manager or owner or whoever he was greeting all the big parties that were there and just looked at us and walked away. A very nice lady at the bar had to come around and check us in and get us seated. We get seated and right off the bat, the tablecloth was dirty and utensils were looked dirty, the glasses even already had fingerprints and grin on it plus we waited about 15min for someone to even bring us menus and take our drink orders. All while waiting I’m noticing how chaotic the environment is. Staff is running around like chickens with their heads cut off, the manager/owner is loudly yelling at staff in the dining area. It was chaotic. Our waiter finally comes to take our drink orders and couldn’t run away FAST enough. It was like before I could even get it out the drink I wanted he was already one foot stepping away. He comes back, not even 5 min later and asks if we wanted an appetizer and then at the same time in the same breath asks what we wanted as our main course. Now, I’m not an expert but I have never been to a steakhouse where they do both at the same time. Anywho. We get our appetizer 20min later and it was cold as ice. It was a steak bruschetta so I’m not sure if it was supposed to be cold. But ice cold steak did not taste amazing. It was underwhelming. They don’t even ask if we’re done, they just grabbed the plates THEN asks if we’re done. We get our main course and this is where I start to lose it a little bit. The mashed potatoes that come with the meal, it was quite literally a mashed potato no seasoning or anything and THAT was ice cold. My steak was not medium rare, it was medium at best. The macaroni was honestly the most laughable part and could not get over it. It was grainy and gritty and it looked like shredded cheese on top of velveta but with again, ZERO seasoning. This has been the WORST Mac and cheese I have actually ever had. In the pic you can tell me if that’s $14 Mac and cheese worthy or if it even looks appetizing. They don’t even ask if we’re done with meals. They just grab the plates THEN ask if you’re done AGAIN. Mind you we’re feeling RUSHED. They quickly bring us dessert menus. Quickly rushed up through that ordering. We got the tiramisu and again underwhelming and sad. It was basically all whipped cream. And I know better than to expect a free dessert for a birthday but most of (99%) of steakhouse will ask if you’re celebrating anything and most likely will comp it. Our waiter never even asked. The poor bartender asked us if we were celebrating anything when she got us seated but I’m assuming the waiter forgot with all the rushing happening. We get the check and surprise surprise it was $211 for mediocre food and service. I had asked for a manager but surprisingly one never came and that guy who looked like one had magically disappeared. I have had better service and food at a dang Texas Roadhouse. Save your money here and go to Wicked Butcher down the street. Best food and service that you could get. Mercury can take some notes from them.

Visit Dallas and found this restaurant while looking for a steak dinner. Menu wasn’t anything excited but the food tasted great. Perfectly cooked steak. Wine was very expensive but also very good. Tiramisu not traditional but good. Brought two kids-server was not very kind to the family dynamic. Live piano music that was beautiful. Great view of the sunset. Would return for another meal but hope for a different server

Excellent steakhouse with a classy atmosphere and high-quality food. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered—tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—and the sides were just as good. Portions felt generous for a higher-end place, and presentation was on point.
Service was professional and attentive without being intrusive, and the dining room felt clean and comfortable. Great spot for a date night or special occasion. Definitely recommend.

This was a quaint steakhouse in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. There was a small town feel that was evident between the patrons and staff. The staff were incredibly friendly and the live music was amazing- the atmosphere and staff made this a place worth visiting. The food was not as great- the quality was lacking and didn’t appear to match the descriptions on the menu. The filet was described as prime beef, but was incredibly gristly. The caprese salad listed basil, but had a basil pesto- no basil- the pesto and balsamic were delicious, but the rest of the ingredients were poor quality.

If you have over two hours, enjoy overpriced, cold food, and don’t mind poor service this might be the place for you. Meal started great with cocktails and appetizers. About one hour in we finally got to order food. Food finally arrived very cold and overdone after another 45 minutes. The staff did not seem bothered at all that we had a bad experience. After another 20 minutes manager finally adjusted our bill. One of the very few times I’ve gone to a nice restaurant and not left any tip whatsoever. There are lots of choices in Fort Worth.

Absolutely incredible service! My wife and I took our friends out to celebrate a recent wedding and two birthdays. The experience was everything you could ask for from a high-end restaurant. The general manager was professional and kind, the waiters were attentive, and the food was prepared to perfection. At the end of the night the owner of the restaurant came down and introduced himself to the group and we got to talk for just a bit. Later that night my wife said it was like we were treated like royalty and I agree. This restaurant has heart and it goes far beyond five stars. We will definitely be back

We had a fabulous experience here! We called on short notice and they were able to accommodate a large group on very short notice. The food was amazing and we were treated like royalty. This is a definite must go for us when we’re in Ft. Worth

Our first visit to Mercury Chophouse in Ft Worth was on Valentine’s. The restaurant was busy but the wait staff did not miss a step. The food & service were excellent. Save room for dessert!!
The only thing they could have improved on was the music, it would have been nice to have someone at the piano on such a romantic evening.

Loved it!!
When we walked in, I was unsure if they were open. It was quiet. Very little noise. Atmosphere is a little dark, once seated, it was comfortable.
Our waiter, was a mind reader. While sharing the specials and discussing the menu, he seemed to read my mind.
We both started with a salad and some bread. The magic happened when the meals came out. The lamb was seared perfectly and cooked to medium. Was delightful. Eagerly awaiting our next trip.
