I was very disappointed with the service I received at the Papa John’s location in Greenwood, SC. I order at least once a week from this location. I placed a carryout order at 7:17 PM and was told the wait time would be 15–20 minutes. I arrived a little over 20 minutes later to pick up my pizza. When I arrived, I paid for my order and waited about five more minutes without receiving any update on the status of my pizza. I then asked if my pizza was ready, and I was told it would be about 10 more minutes. At that point, more than 30 minutes had already passed since the order was placed. I finally received my pizza at 7:52 PM. The box was stamped with the time of 7:37pm.
Because of the delay and lack of communication, I asked if there was any possibility of compensation, such as a free soda. The employee at the counter said she would ask her manager since she could not make that decision herself. When she asked him, he dismissed the request, so I asked to speak with him directly.
Unfortunately, the manager did not take the time to hear my concern. Instead, he immediately said there was nothing he would do and that they were busy. I explained that I understood they were busy, but the original time estimate was inaccurate and there were no updates provided while I waited. Normally, when a store is busy, customers are given a longer estimated wait time.
The manager then responded by saying he could refund my money and asked if I wanted the pizza or not. I found this response dismissive and unprofessional.
Overall, I am highly dissatisfied with the level of customer service I experienced. The situation could have been handled much more professionally with simple communication and a willingness to address the concern. I hope management reviews this experience and provides better training for handling customer concerns during busy times.

I ordered 2 pizzas that showed up destroyed. One pizza was smashed with butter sauce opened all in the box and the other pizza has all the toppings pushed to the corner of the box. Poor delivery, poor service and all they did was demanded the pizzas back. They refused to refund us. Never ordering papa John’s again…

The middle aged black woman there is so rude and hateful. Took forever to make one pepperoni pizza. Wouldn’t look me in the eyes or hand me the pizza herself. She needs fired. I did absolutely nothing to this woman for her to be so unprofessional.

I am a fan favorite of Papa John’s. But the manager on duty on Thursday May 15,2025 was not professional. At all. I order out of Charleston SC stores. I order same thing all the time. 1 topping pizza. I ask for pizza to be dough that is from cooler. Cause the dough that sits out is at room temperature and when prepared and cooked it make the bottom extremely hard like eating a pice of cardboard. Also asked for dough not to be docked. I like the bubbles. Was told could not do that. I told him I understand that they might have to poop the bubbles in the oven. He was extremely no professional. He acted more like he didn’t care if bought his pizza or not. If this is the new way of doing pizza. I will look else where for pizza.

We had them do our pizza’s for our 4 year olds birthday party it was Spider-Man themed. When I went in I showed them a picture of a spider web pizza and they did a good job making it happen.
