When the food came out it was good and it was hot. They were out of crispy chicken which I thought was strange because they had grilled chicken. All you had to do was flour it and deep fry it.
The waitress was quite a bit snippy and we waited forever for our food.
Now the bad part, I ordered side salad instead of the fries or anything. Came out a fairly small bowl there’s not going to just cut up iceberg lettuce. Absolutely nothing else no tomatoes no cheese no nothing just a small bowl of iceberg lettuce for $4.50
I drinks came out in very small plastic cups for $2 those two things were very disappointing.
But my burger was really good

Ive been a few times and the food is always great. My most recent server seemed to be in a grumpy mood but did what she needed to do. I feel like if you dont come with a local your server doesn’t explain there setup up/process at all. There is a park nearby (easy walking distance) for the kids to work off some of their food and energy. There is something hard to explain, in addition to park, right across the street from Elaine’s

My grandparents took me here when I was little at least once when i visited them. Very fond memories and a very nice little diner in the nicest part of the country you can visit. One of the few places Ive re visited after being around the world and back. RIP Grandpa and Grandma Falter.

Was a great meal for Mother’s Day of Prime Rib or Windsor Loin. Salads and desserts were really good. Waitress was great and the bonus of a carnation for the ladies was special.

I loved this place because it was about 6 miles from my motel (Black Horse Inn AKA Stubby’s) and full bar, good food and friendly service. Bonus- there’s a great life size model turn-of-the-century small town Main Street display. We’ll done Winnetoon! Prime rib and steaks on Saturday night. Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park is less than 20 miles away and outstanding!
