Stopped in with my two kids (ages 17 and 8) for a quick lunch and a place to sit down. The service was friendly and the restaurant itself looked nice inside, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite match the setting or the price.
My 8-year-old ordered the kids’ cheese pizza — I get that it’s a Mexican restaurant, but if you’re going to offer it on the kids’ menu, it should at least be decent. It was the smallest personal pizza I’ve ever seen, and honestly looked and tasted like it came out of a microwave. My daughter enjoyed her burrito with rice, though it was on the greasy side. I ordered the 3 tacos, which were small and pretty underwhelming — not much filling and very basic.
While nothing was outright bad, the portions were small, and for a bill that came to around $60 after tip, it just didn’t feel like a great value. Not a terrible visit, but likely not a place we’ll return to for lunch.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, comfortable seating at both the bar, and tables. Food is average, nothing worth a repeat visit, when there are locally owned Mexican eateries that far exceed quality, price, and taste. Server was unfamiliar with drink options available which was frustrating, fortunately I walked to the bar and asked for what I wanted from the bartender.
We had a group of about 12, drinks took longer than they should have, and sporadically, but food was out timely and all together. We were not treated badly, but, customer service, and attentiveness from the server were lacking. We were the only table in the building, so even though it was a bigger group, I would expect better service.

This place is SO cute. Live music, great environment. But the food??? Absolutely awful. My SIL, my fiancé and I all ordered the birria and it tasted like it was all cooked in candle wax. My friend had the chicken quesadilla and the chicken was hard. This place was recommended by a local (I’m from Alabama and was a on a beach trip) but I would never go back here. I’ve never had BAD birria but this was awful. The drinks and salsa are good tho

This was our first time going to the ft Walton beach location.
We were surprised with the live music with our dining experience.
They were slow bringing the chips and sauce and we had to request queso instead of it being offered to us.
If a person didn’t know to ask they would have missed out on it.
Anyhow that is not a deal breaker for us.
Where the initial hospitality service was slow, the presence of live music made up for it.
And as always the food was fantastic.
