Shundia is a sweetheart, she took my order. We came with a small group (6). Because you order individually, instead of at the same time, we couldn’t eat together without some people’s food getting cold. This is really a carryout setup, but there was enough seating to accommodate us, and maybe 10 other people.
The catfish was AWESOME.
There is Kool aid to drink. I ended up paying $1.50 for a bottle of Sam’s Club water.

While the customer service is top tier some of the food is not! I ordered the fried turkey chops, magnificent as usual! The cornbread dressing tasted terrible! The macaroni was made with imitation cheese so it was oily. The collard greens weren’t too bad. The yams were ok. I’ll find another soul food joint!

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. This place was not bad at all. Came on a Sunday between 2pm-3pm (after church rush) and the restaurant was full, but the line was moving. No one behind the counter was rude. The food was fresh and the servings matched the prices. Catfish dinner and Turkey Chop dinner (grilled) were both bomb. The oxtails could’ve been better seasoned, but we’d definitely come back. The food was good overall and the interior was clean. Originally ordered on Doordash and had our order canceled so we came in person the next day and wasn’t let down. Definitely missing out on a lot of revenue on Doordash by canceling orders. We spent a lot more in the app than in person.

Shundia greeted us with a beautiful smile and was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. I got the catfish, black eyed peas, and collard greens. This is predominantly a carryout restaurant but they do have 4 booths you can sit at if you wish to eat there. Will definitely be going back to try some of their other options.
