This place is fantastic. Been here twice when in town for work. I am from MN and will make a point to fly out with my wife for a date weekend. Chef Paco is amazing and one of the friendliest, most personable chefs you could meet. The staff is outstanding as well. You can sit at the bar and watch the preparation and see how much pride they take in their product. It’s a classy place. Great if you want to impress your date. The prices are amazing for the quality of food you get. I had the calamari tonight and it was so tender. So good. The Bison burger is fantastic. If you get there for happy hour, the prices are even better!! Don’t miss out on this gem!!

This place is a solid 4-star spot when it comes to food and Ambience is quite and clean. — but the service pushes it to a 5!

David was outstanding — warm, attentive, and made some spot-on recommendations that really elevated our experience.

The fish tacos were a highlight — perfectly crisp with great flavor. Pesto pasta was also tasty, and while the pizza could have been a bit better, it was still enjoyable. Drinks were well-made and hit the spot.

It’s rare to find a place where the people make such a difference, but Solano’s is definitely one of them. Because of the great staff and genuine service, I’m happy to call this a 5/5 experience. Will definitely be back!

Came for dinner, walk in and was able to be seated without reservations. The bruschetta was too heavy on the balsamic on a little toast. Salads were just alright. My husband’s roast order was the most delicious along with the mashed potato – definitely order this. Blackened shrimp was right amount of spice and good risotto. Wish the brownie was warmer. Friendly service, appreciate that they were always on top of refilling water.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Solano’s. I had the beef short rib and it was so tender and juicy. Also really enjoyed the prickly pear jalapeño margarita – yum! Excellent service from Roy and AJ, will be back the next time I’m in the area.

Pretty restaurant, excellent service but definitely subpar food for the price. The soup and pizza were very good but the macaroni and cheese and shrimp and scallops dinner weren’t good at all.
Great food presentation for the scallop and shrimp dinner.

Three of us went on a Monday night. We had reservations but the restaurant wasn’t busy. It was happy hour, but their happy hour selections are very limited, for both drinks and food. I ordered the special, fresh haddock over broccoli and risotto. It was delicious, a good size, and VERY pricey; the most I’ve ever spent for such a dish but this is my first visit to Palm Springs. Our food service was slow, which we didn’t mind, being ready for a leisurely dinner. However, the service seemed inconsistent. Another couple was already seated when we arrived and still there when we left, whereas two families of 4 or 5 arrived, ate, and left during the time we were there.

We stopped at Solano’s while we were en route, driving through, and what a delightful decision! Excellent service, lovely, peaceful atmosphere. We tried the crispy calamari… very generous portion, and I had the butternut squash ravioli, which was both delicate and satisfying. The envelopes were tender, and the squash was light and full of flavor. My wife had the sea bass, special for that evening, fresh, solid meat with a nice sauce.

Decided to swing by this place for my birthday to have some good Italian food and was not disappointed. Our server (AJ) was extremely friendly and attended to our needs. We started off with bacon wrapped dates. All I have to say is Yum. Then I had the linguini bolognese while my wife had the chicken Marsala. Both were very tasty. Some bad news they will closed for the month of August 2024 but they will reopen in September.

We love this restaurant and the staff! Paco is an incredible chef. Solanos is our go to for date nights, casual nights, and special occasions with family and friends. If we are headed to Acrisure for a show or a game- we eat at Solanos. The food is consistently delicious and the service is superb. Excellent selection of wines and the bar serves amazing cocktails. We enjoy the delicious specials- if he is serving sea bass- just order it —your welcome. Steaks are cooked to perfection, and the sea food is amazing…All plated beautifully. I love the scallops and shrimp and the blackened salmon. They are cooked perfectly every time. Butternut squash ravioli-delish! Love their salads: spinach and beets with goat cheese and the white bean arugula are my favorites. Paco will modify any dish for your needs as well.
