Social Profile:

Family-owned & operated restaurant. Happily serving our Golden Hill community & greater San Diego area since 2007. Our East Coast inspired spot offers traditional and multicuisine fusion influenced options. Proudly serving mouthwatering cheesesteaks, Taylor pork roll (Taylor ham), handful hoagies & subs, savory deli sandwiches, bacon-wrapped hotdogs, fun finger foods, hearty salads, & made to order brunch. All made fresh, & we are confident you will enjoy. Team G takes great pride in crafting its menu items with premier ingredients. Procurement of Amoroso Rolls, John Taylor’s Pork Roll, Thumann’s deli meats & hotdogs, & locally made (across the street at Sepulveda Meats) Argentine sausage serve as a launching pad for truly delightful eats.

Cheesesteak, pork roll sandwiches, subs & more served up in a down-to-earth eatery.

Not terrible, but not something I’d go out of my way for again. The sandwich looked good, but the flavor just didn’t hit. It needed more seasoning and just felt flat overall.

Fries were basic. Nothing wrong with them, just kind of there. For twenty bucks with a drink, I expected more.

Service was fast and the staff was friendly, so no complaints there. Just wish the food had that extra something to make it stand out.

Solid philly cheesesteak the meat was seasoned good cheese ratio was good my only two complaints would be the delicious amoroso’s roll was not toasted at all which is just a personal liking but the main thing that got a star removed was that I was watching like 8 other philly cheesesteaks come out and they all looked like they had more meat than mine It might have just been perception but I think it was 17 dollars and should have had more meat and the cheese fries were like 5.50 dollars and there wasn’t that much fries I do not mind paying the money but dont skimp on the portions. The service was good And I know they are clean cause I saw the guy from the back come up and wash his hands like 3 or 4 times while I was just sitting there eating so that is always a plus. This definitely would have been my new spot if it was not for the portion size.

My boyfriend and I heard about this place because a local YouTuber reviewed it and had great things to say. We decided to check it out, and we were really glad we did! We split a mushroom cheesesteak with whiz because we weren’t very hungry, and it was so delicious.

I also wanted to mention the service- the people running this business clearly put their hearts into it. We felt so welcome, and we really appreciated their kindness and excellent service. We will definitely be back. I want to try one with pepperoni next

Edited to add: Hi Team G! The local YouTube channel we found you through is TheSandwichSnobs. The video was posted 3 days ago and the title is “Three Of The BEST Sandwiches – San Diego”.

We were looking for a quick bite after a 5 hour drive from AZ to SanDiego, CA. Giorgio’s was a 7 min walk from our Airbnb. They did not disappoint. We ordered an antipasto salad and a side of chicken fingers. Also two cherry colas. The chicken was really good. It was made to order and came out hot and crunchy. The salad was fresh and refreshing. The cherry soda the carry was delicious and I will be looking to buy more of it. Great place and the staff was friendly.

We got a regular cheese steak, whiz with and cheese fries. It was large enough for 2 to share. Bread was nice and soft and the meat was delicious!

Uh, no. I had high hopes but, unfortunately, knew as soon as I walked in. Not a Philly reference in site aside from multiple Amoroso signs. Which is where I’ll start – I don’t think these were Amoroso rolls or at least something had been done to them. The texture and taste were way off. The meat was tasteless. Minor but grilled onions and peppers are supposed to be in strips and not diced. I couldn’t even finish it. I realize my Philly native expectations might be too high but this was bad. Also, it’s Tournament time and they had the Food Network on the TV.
