Hands down my favourite Vietnamese spot in Bristol! We visit this or the Cotham location monthly and the menu never gets old. They offer brilliant vegan and gluten-free options!
The summer rolls are a must-order, massive, tasty, and perfect for taking home if you can’t finish them. Great portions and very fair pricing. Just remember that this specific branch is cash only, whereas Cotham takes card.

I tried Bún Bò Huế and bánh mì at The Viet Kitchen and both were really good. The flavours were very authentic and tasted just like food in Vietnam. The staffs are very friendly too. Highly recommended ❤️

The satay bao and the pork bao were really good. Definitely recommend to try if you’re going there. The spicy beef soup was also flavorful. Don’t forget to get the Iced Viet Coffee, such a strong and sweet flavor Service was also really nice although there was just one server on the front, she handled quite well. 10/10

What can I say?? The bao buns are the absolute elite level buns.the cow bao.. wow. The quality of beef was amazing, the texture, how it was cooked second to none. The flavours that hit after the initial hoisin, the little chilli hints, the coriander hit, the spring onion hit. The salt and seasoning.. you can taste them all individually and as one. Masterpiece. The buns were perfect. Kinda like Goldilocks zone. Not too sweet, not too hot not too salty etc. just bang in the middle not stodgy or squelchy just perfect there were three of us and we all loved our meals, staff were fantastic even though it was busy in there. Attention, attention attention!!! Eat here. Seriously, leave whatever you were about to cook for today and just get out and eat here.

I recently tried the house pho noodles and was blown away by how flavorful and satisfying they were. The broth is rich, the beef is tender, and the portion size is generous—definitely worth a visit! The service is friendly and efficient, though the dining area can feel a bit cramped since tables are placed quite close together. Overall, a fantastic spot for delicious pho!

My favourite pho place in Bristol.
Yes it is cash only, and you need to reserve through calling or WhatsApp, but the food is consistently great and good value.
It’s not really a restaurant for dwelling, it’s fairly cramped inside and doesn’t have the vibe for luxuriously chilled lounging around with friends. We were sat down, ordered and ate within an hour but it works great to then get dessert or another drink elsewhere.
We had a ginger beer and a Hanoi beer for drinks. For food we had satay tofu bao, classic beef pho and the pork rice bowl.
It was all super flavorful, with flavours you can only get from proper marination and stewing. The pho broth was clear and delicious and the pho was topped with a generous portion of meat that was beautifully brisketed.
My partner ordered the pork rice bowl which I tried some of and it was very tasty with a great serving sauce similar (if not the same) to the ones that come with the bun dishes.
Portions are pretty large, just the single pho fills me up to very full.

It is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the UK! Very generous portions and high quality food. You may find the place quite tight as there are too many tables for the size of the restaurant but overall it is a great place. Definitely recommend it.
