I don’t know what is going on but the difference in the quality of poutine has gone down hill from last year. This is the second time this Spring I have bought poutine from Kal’s. The first time I thought the curds were on the skimpy side buy today it was unacceptable. I had maybe 8 tiny pieces of Curd. If I wanted chips and gravy I would have ordered that! So I’m very disappointed If this is the way of making poutine then I won’t order it again!

If you go here I highly recommend the fries they sell. The fries are quite cheap here and come in massive servings with even a small being enough for one person. Only thing I haven’t liked here are the chicken fingers/tenders as they are quite bland tasting.

Great choice to stop for a bite to eat along the 401 versus grabbing the usual banal fast food. The folks running the truck are super chill. The owner is Lebanese and has a ton of resto experience and makes a mean chicken shawarma. Fries are done just right, golden brown and doused with the requisite salt and vinegar. Burgers and poutines were looking good as well. Worth checking out the local Shakespeare in the Park as well during the summer.

Great service but the only problem is, the food is bland, I ordered a poutine regular and the gravy has no flavor and the fries are not peeled so the flavor from that is all you tase worst poutine I ever had, and just for giggles I tried my wife’s burger well how should I say this bland and taste a bit burnt,
well… maybe just pass this chip truck and go to Maitland, that chip truck is the bomb
