Hands down the best breakfast and brunch in Atlanta for the price!

I love a good diner, and Goldbergs delivers every single time. It’s light years ahead of J Christopher’s, White Hall, First Watch, you game it. Now you won’t get a fancy coffee or Instagram able photo, but you’ll get solid food. I’ve been eating here for years and genuinely crave it about every three weeks…it’s that good.

You really can’t go wrong. Portions are generous especially for the price, service is consistently solid (though wait times can vary, it’s popular!), and with so many locations you can usually find one nearby.

They’re also great about modifying cooking oils for those of us who prefer olive oil or other healthier options.

My go-to is an omelette or the nova scramble, with home fries — big, crispy potato chunks with sautéed peppers and onions — plus a side of toast, English muffin, or bagel (or swap for salad or fruit). My husband swears by their latkes, too.

Classic, satisfying, and a total win for brunch lovers.

Huge portions, friendly staff, and good food.

Sandwiches were stacked and delicious, did the Ruben egg rolls for an appetizer and they were really good but really greasy.

Staff was friendly and service was fast, I don’t think my drink ever got below half full.

Upon walking in, it’s not immediately clear how you’re supposed to be seated, but once you get seated and get ordering, the presentation and flavour of the food is outstanding. The price point was quite reasonable. While I’ll probably never be in this area again, don’t miss out if you are!

Place reminded me of a Long Island Deli. Very nostalgic. Service was great. Only downside was there were no plugs and we were hoping to be able to get some work done. They boast “fast Wi-Fi”, but make sure you have battery lol

I ordered my breakfast at 6:29 this morning for a pick up at 8:01am. When i went to eat my eggs, they were cold!!! Did they make the order when I put it in and have the food sitting out?? Then, my bacon is pink and rubbery. What is that about? I’ve tried supporting this location this week several times. This has soured me and for the amount I paid, the food should be hot and cooked.

You not only need to speak with your staff but you need to refund my order. I paid for a hot meal, not cold and uncooked meat.

I came in for a quick breakfast, but this bagel shop delivered a whole experience. As I sat waiting for my order, this verse came to mind:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6

And honestly, that’s exactly the energy this place gives.
The bagels are baked to perfection — soft inside, crisp outside — and the flavors hit with comforting consistency. The staff treats you like they actually care, and the atmosphere feels warm enough to calm any morning stress.

If you’re looking for a spot that won’t let you down, trust me: this is the one.

I walked into this bagel shop feeling a little unsure… but then I remembered the verse that always hits:
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6

And honestly? That’s exactly how this place made me feel.
The moment I tasted that fresh, warm, perfectly chewy bagel, I knew I was in good hands. The service is kind, the vibe is peaceful, and the food never disappoints.

If you need a little courage to try somewhere new, let this be your sign — you will not be forsaken here.

Famous for the bagels. We’ve been here for brunch a few times and they are generally busy with a Sunday crowd. I actually recommend the chicken biscuit. The biscuit was solid and the chicken was delicious. The French dip came recommended, but I wasn’t overly impressed. I think my sandwich might have been a little overcooked. Everyone enjoyed their bagels and we do recommend coming here. Price wise, it’s a fairly reasonable place and the service is always nice.

It’s a solid New York deli, which is rare in the Atlanta area. I had a “New York Stack” pastrami sandwich and my wife had a regular corner beef sandwich The pastrami was a little tough and NY style just included another slice of bread. Service was spotty.

Rich in history. Committed to quality. Bagels made the old-fashioned way. Goldberg’s Bagel Company & Deli, originally named Goldberg & Son, started in 1972 as a small true father-and-son run Atlanta deli serving six varieties of authentic New York-style boiled bagels and one very popular Po’ Boy sandwich. The location was a small but very popular traditional New York deli.

This nostalgic spot is still from the 70s with all the love and care that still goes into their food and establishment. All bread is made fresh everyday with an assortment to choose from on their menu. This is a staple In the community and has been for quite sometime form the looks of it. Please try if you new to the area!
