This place is AMAZING.
As someone with a gluten allergy, finding a restaurant where I can actually relax is rare… but this is one of those gems. The majority of the menu is naturally gluten-free, including the fryer (yes, the fryer!). When I mentioned my gluten allergy, the owner immediately said, “You’re safe here.” Instant relief.
I ordered the pork empanada made with corn flour and it was crispy, golden perfection. It came with a mild crema and a spicy salsa, both were so flavorful I kept dipping even when I didn’t need to. I also tried the patacón with beef (a plantain sandwich), and wow. The plantain was crispy, sturdy, and held up better than any gluten-free bread I’ve ever had — IYKYK. The filling was packed with flavor, and the sandwich was HUGE. I could only finish half.
This is a tie-your-hair-up, embrace-the-mess kind of meal. Messy and absolutely delicious.
There are only three items on the menu that aren’t gluten-free because they’re made with flour tortillas and they’re clearly labeled. Nothing with flour ever goes in the fryer, so cross-contamination isn’t a concern.
The vibe is chill and casual — order at the counter and grab a seat. It feels like eating a home-cooked meal at your cousin’s house. I’m obsessed and already planning my next visit because I genuinely want to try everything on the menu.
Having a gluten allergy can feel limiting, but places like The Antojitos House make me feel included again.
I will absolutely be back. Again and again.

one of the best baleadas in the states! all of the food was seasoned like i remember it, when i vacationed in Honduras last summer. definitely recommend the hot sauce with the baleadas – flavorful without melting my tastebuds.
the yucca was crispy and delicious. i will definitely be coming back for the pollo chuco.
muchísimas gracias!

I stumbled upon this place after a long day of showing homes. I was so hungry & the owner was kind enough to make me something very quickly while my main course was making.
I ordered the pollo & the queso pupas empanadas + the arepas pollo. The empanadas were so crunchy & kept their crunch during travel time.
Everything had such an amazing flavor! I’m always leery of shredded chicken but this chicken was juicy & so delish.
The hot salsa was also very good with great spice. I honestly wish it would have been spicier.
The owner was so personable & easy to talk with. She is a hard worker who takes pride in her food. I appreciated the smaller menu because it helped with decision making & keeping things simple!
My only suggestion was to have a light up sign as it was a bit hard to find in the complex.
I will 100% be coming back here!!!

With the quality and authenticity of the food, this place should always be packed! Don’t be put off by the construction on the road nor the hole in the wall exterior. The inside is where all of the beautiful and delicious action is found! We sampled many different choices from the menu for my birthday dinner. I loved it, and so did the rest of my family. They were nice and thoughtful to allow us to bring in my cake, even bringing plates out and knife to cut it. Mercifully, they did not have to sing on my behalf

This restaurant was excellent! From the moment I walked in, the owner treated me like I was a member of her family. I felt like I was eating in her home. The food was freshly cooked to order and was excellent. I had the arepas, empanadas, and fried plantains. There was so much on the menu that looked good, so I will surely be back to try the other items. Antojitos House has a new regular customer!

We were visiting friends and they recommended The Antojitos House. We got there just before 6:30 and they closed at 7. When we mentioned the fact and suggested that we do takeout, the lady told us that we should just enjoy a leisurely meal. She was exceedingly hospitable. We ordered two meals, one that just takes a few minutes and one that takes longer to prepare. We shared the first meal and took the second one as takeout for the next day’s dinner. Each one was plenty to fill both of us up. We enjoyed both meals and were leaving the parking lot at 7:01. If we had stayed past closing, I am sure that they would have still been amazing!

Instant new favorite. We just tried it for the first time and I already can’t wait to go back! Everything we tried was outstanding. When the woman who helped us noticed that my spouse and I didn’t ask for meat in any of our dishes, she was incredibly friendly about letting us know we were welcome to order anything on the menu vegetarian if we wanted, and that she could easily swap the meat out for beans and/or avocado, depending on the dish. I look forward to working my way through the whole menu!

Super friendly service at this cool little place.
It’s bigger than what it appears from the outside, plenty of room and tables to enjoy a unique Venezuelan style meal.
I ordered a couple items to go including the vegetarian empanada and it was fantastic!
Can’t wait to go back and try more of their offerings.
