I live in Boston, Massachusetts, but I was passing through Coventry, Rhode Island when I saw the sign for Braza Brazilian BBQ and decided to walk in. I’ll admit — before going in, I wondered, “Is this place really good?”
Well… the answer is simple: it’s excellent.
From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with an incredibly warm atmosphere. The owners are genuinely kind and friendly — the kind of people who make you feel truly welcome.
And it doesn’t stop there. The food was absolutely amazing: juicy meats, a great variety on the buffet, and flavors that truly stand out. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.
What really impressed me was the feeling of being at home. You genuinely feel embraced — like you’re eating your mother’s or grandmother’s cooking (and I hope yours cook well, because the standard here is high!).
On top of that, the background music was perfect and the restaurant was extremely clean — which makes all the difference to me.
Without a doubt, it was a memorable experience. I will definitely be back whenever I can.

My very first trip to Rhode Island—and I’m so glad it was the first place I stepped into!
The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the cheese bread, which was perfectly chewy in the best way and incredibly tasty! I also had yellow rice, potato salad, spinach lasagna, steak, and baked pineapple—which paired beautifully with the steak. My brother also loved his plate, especially the meatballs and pasta.
Beyond the food, the experience was so warm and welcoming. The owners greeted us like family. You can really feel the love in the place—it’s clean, cozy, and full of good vibes. The pricing is generous and you can fully customize your plate.
I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone—whether you’re going solo, with friends, or with family. I’m already looking forward to coming back next time I’m in Rhode Island!
