Reviews
El Diablo delivers an experience that is truly almost perfect. From the moment you step inside, you are immersed in a very unique and beautiful atmosphere that elevates the entire dining experience.
The restaurant’s design is thoughtfully executed, providing a large and inviting indoor dining area as well as a great outdoor seating area for warmer evenings. A standout feature is their large, private event room—a stunning space enclosed with windows that makes it ideal for any special gathering.
Exceptional Food & Drink
The food is the heart of El Diablo, and they excel here. Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, and arrived reasonably fast, a testament to their efficient kitchen. While they offer a wide array of options, their specialty is clearly the pizza, which is baked in a large, central wood-fired oven. The sheer number of creative pizza options alone is enough to warrant a return visit!
The bar offers another unique touch with both beer and wine on tap—yes, wine on tap!—which is a fun, modern feature.
Wonderful Service
The outstanding service rounded out the evening perfectly. A special thank you to our server, Savanah, for her wonderful service and attentive, friendly demeanor.
The Only Small Hurdle
The single drawback to an otherwise flawless experience is the parking situation. The lot is quite small, offering only about a dozen spaces, and its proximity to a highly traveled road makes it genuinely difficult to navigate. Guests should plan for this minor inconvenience.
In Summary: Despite the parking issue, El Diablo is a highly recommended dining destination. I look forward to returning soon to dive deeper into their menu.
My wife is gluten free and El Diablo usually has amazing gluten free options. My wife ordered the gluten free fish sandwich and I ordered the regular fish sandwich.
The portion sizes were fine and each one came with a side. She got french fries and I got green beans.
We ordered just fine, or so we thought. Our sandwiches arrived with coleslaw slapped on top of the fish. To be clear, it went bun, fish, coleslaw, bun. My wife doesn’t eat coleslaw and while I don’t mind it, I do not want it as a topping on my fish sandwich. It was also very wet, causing the fish and breading to get soggy. We brought this to our servers attention and she informed us that she told us that when reading the specials and to reiterate her point she reread us the specials. It read as follows, “fish sandwich with jalepeno coleslaw.” No where did it mention the coleslaw was directly on the sandwich. If it had we both would have requested it to be removed.
So instead of complaining and sending both sandwiches back I scraped the coleslaw off of mine and we ordered a completely new sandwich for my wife. We had the original sandwich with coleslaw boxed and brought home for my father in law, who is like Mikey and eats anything!
Neither of our sandwiches tasted that great. The coleslaw was exceptionally wet and bland. My green beans were burnt. My wifes sandwich had a very strong chemical taste to it and her french fries were limp and soggy.
Oh, if you would like cocktail and/or tartar sauce for your $16.00 sandwich, you better be ready to hand over a $1.00 for each sauce.
I should have gone to a local church or Moose lodge for my fish.
Overall it was overpriced for two people and possibly three of the worst fish sandwiches ever.
The only slight-gripe was in particular the steak sandwich (image) – flank was cooked perfectly as ordered, however the sandwich surprisingly lacked flavor. We’ll be back as the experience was great and every other plate we seen looked amazing, just hope the mention to the waitress was relayed (not in complaint), and the sandwich is improved upon.
But what really made the experience exceptional was our waitress, Carlie. She was beyond amazing—warm, attentive, and full of positive energy. She didn’t just tell us the specials; she made them sound so good that we ended up trying things we never would’ve ordered otherwise—and we were so glad we did.
Carlie’s enthusiasm and genuine care turned a great meal into a truly memorable experience. I can’t say enough good things about her and the welcoming atmosphere here. We’ll definitely be back!
The black n blue chicken and the Nashville hot entree were fantastic. See the photos, they were exceptionally seasoned, just right.
This place is busy and now you know why- it’s great! A definite recommend. I hope to return and enjoy food that was this great again and again.
