If all the locals think this is the best bbq they have ever had, they need to get out more. I’ve had better pork sandwiches from gas stations. And the brunswick stew is not brunswick stew. It is vegetable soup with very very little meat added. The little corn bread muffin was so dry, I think it must have been made a week ago. Nothing but a waste of money eating here

The Burger Man with Best Burgers in America Association, decided to get a Big BBQ samich, and my wife and I got the “Super Q” and it is an awesome BBQ samich. Love their Warm & Thick sauce. Their customer service slacks a bit. Not friendly like customer service should be. But again, I’m not there to be their buddy, I’m there for good food.

Stoped in at what was once my favorite hometown drive thru bbq has severely went the wrong direction in regard to portion sizes. I went here today and ordered the pork superQ. To my surprise when I got home the sandwich had barely enough pork to meet the needs of a standard size sandwich. I remember years ago the pork would fall out of the bun it was so fully packed. They need to at least double the amount of pork on the superQ, other than that the pork flavor is still there as I remember. Just wished I could taste it over the oversized bun. Also, they need to go back to offering single sized bags of chips. Hopefully this review will have some weight and get this business back on track to being the staple it has been for years.

Came here last week for a quick lunch after working in the area. I was somewhat surprised to find that it was a drive-through only setup, but that wasn’t a big deal; I don’t mind eating in my car. They were quite busy for almost 2 PM, with about 6 cars ahead of me.

The line mostly moved at a reasonable pace with maybe one exceptional car. The menu is posted far enough away that you have time to think about what you might want if there’s people in front of you. They have pork, chicken, stew, etc., and the more plain type of traditional bbq sides like slaw, beans, and chips.

The lady at the window wasn’t very friendly and seemed over it, but my food came out quickly at least. I went with what I always think of as the safest bet at an unfamiliar bbq place, which is a bbq potato.

Unfortunately, this item was a bust. My sweet tea was a bust, too. It tasted dishwater-esque with a strong undercurrent of lemon — which I don’t like in my tea.

The potato — well, I wasn’t even sure if it had pork bbq on it at first, despite that being what I asked for. It was very pale and stringy meat. This meat was absolutely smothered in a thin, sour sauce that I can assume based only on color was an attempt at white sauce. The meat WAS pork, but I don’t usually eat that with white sauce. It was odd. The pork itself had no smoke flavor, and most of my bites were dominated by a sour, vinegary, unpleasant flavor.

Additionally, I’m pretty sure my potato was just bbq meat, sauce, and butter — the liquid kind you just drizzle on there, super oily. No sour cream, no chives, no CHEESE?! Not even on the side? It was wildly plain and that added on even more disappointment.

The one redeeming factor was the potato itself was cooked nicely. Wound up picking around the bbq and sauce and just eating that. I pitched most of my meal and drink in the trash can of a nearby shopping center. Maybe I came on an off day, but overall, this was a huge letdown for me.

If the method of cooking the ribs was boiling then these are outstanding ribs. No matter the cooking method these were flavorless with no kind of seasoning, no kind kind of bark, no kind of anything to do with flavor. This is not me being rude but this is the honest truth.

Very good, fall off the bone ribs. I love their bbq pork as well. I also enjoy their coleslaw because it’s vinegar based and very zesty! One of my favorite places to eat!

The food ain’t bad, and they’ve been in town for a long time. The 1-star review is for business practice. I ordered 3 sandwiches, chips and a drink. I was told $25.41 and paid with a credit card. When I got home I glanced at the receipt and realized there was a $1.04 (4%) “Service Fee,” so I called to ask if that was because I used my credit card. The person told me it was. It may seem petty, but I could have paid with cash if they had told me about the credit card service fee (that’s what I normally do). But there was no sign, they didn’t inform me, and I can be petty. Sad to say they lost my business for a lousy $1.

Horrible experience, rude employees, and please don’t think the chicken tenders are fried, they are grilled and dry and looked like they had been sitting all day. I will NEVER go back.
