Bombshell Restaurant delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The staff was attentive and genuinely welcoming, the menu had a great variety, and every plate was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, making it perfect for both a casual night out and a special occasion. Five stars without hesitation.Morgan was the best.

An Evening at the Bomb-Shells: A Second Appraisal

Having previously chronicled my adventures at that lively Lubbock public house known as Bomb-Shells, I must now return with my pen to correct a most grievous error in my initial account—an error which, upon reflection, I attribute to the dim light and the distracting clamor of the establishment. I had the pleasure of visiting again, and it was there that I discovered the truth of the matter regarding the bar’s finest ornament.

I refer, of course, to the tapstress, Miss Andy.

I must now set the record straight with the alacrity of a man removing his hat in the presence of a lady. The deft hand that presides over the spirits is not a “barman,” as I so carelessly reported, but a barmaid of exceptional talent and grace. Miss Andy commands her domain with a quiet confidence that rivals any general I have witnessed. Her movements behind that great oak bar are a study in efficiency and elegance; she measures, mixes, and pours with the precision of a clockmaker and the flair of a stage performer.

But it is not merely her skill with the decanter that warrants praise. Miss Andy possesses a wit as sharp as a cavalry saber and a warmth that makes a man forget the infernal West Texas wind howling outside the door. She has the rare ability to make each patron feel as though they are the sole object of her attention, even as she manages the demands of a dozen thirsty souls. Her conversation is lively without being forward, and her counsel on matters of libation is not to be questioned. In short, she is the very heart of the establishment, and I am humbled to correct my previous misapprehension.

The front of the house remains graced by the incomparable Miss Jada, whose welcome is as constant as the North Star. Between her gentle greeting and Miss Andy’s masterful concoctions, a gentleman may find himself quite contentedly moored for the entire evening. I offer my apologies to Miss Andy for my earlier misidentification, and my sincere compliments to both ladies for their contributions to the civilities of this rugged frontier town.

Absolutely love Bombshells. The atmosphere is always on point! Great energy, clean, and laid-back without feeling boring. The real standout though is the staff.

Destiny and Maria are hands-down two of the best bartenders I’ve ever had. Super attentive, friendly, fast, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. Drinks are always made perfectly, and they keep the vibe fun without overdoing it. Also dummy hot

Huge shoutout to Brandon, the manager. He’s incredibly helpful, chill, and clearly runs the place the right way. You can tell he actually cares about both the customers and the staff, which makes a big difference.

Great service, great drinks, and a solid overall experience every time. This spot is doing it right, highly recommend.

After driving from Houston we came here because of its proximity to our hotel. We waited one hour for these “steak nachos” they also included the most foul smelling chicken and chewy dry steak and the chips were all so greasy they were transparent and flexible, totally inedible. Our ten year olds ice cream with chocolate sauce had a single dot of chocolate like it was accidental. I know there isn’t much over here but I wish we had gone to a gas station instead. $56 dollars down the drain and we’re still hungry.

Good place to go watch the game. The staff was very attentive and the food was amazing. I recommend the torpedoes which are cheese sticks coated in crushed fiery cheetos. Also had the gung ho burger and the fried cheese cake.

Place has so much potential. But the service is consistently terrible. The first time I went, the service was awful. After 20 minutes we had to ask another waitress to assist us with locating our server. And once she was located, she checked on our table once and was nowhere to be found for most of our stay which lasted around 2 hours. But I decided to go back and give it another try a few months later. Everybody deserves another chance. We were sat and not approached for 15 minutes. Finally a server from another table (Yno) came and offered to get us started with drinks. Yno, was awesome. And we requested if she could be our server for the remainder of our time given how our previous visit went. Thankfully, she was able to make that happen. Had it not been for her going out of her way to make sure we were taken care of, we might be still waiting on someone to approach our table. Drinks were solid. Dj was solid. But unfortunately, the consistent lapses in service make me very weary about ever returning. Several servers were sitting at tables while we were waiting, seemingly disinterested in assisting us. Hopefully we are lucky enough to get Yno as a waitress if we ever decide to return. But it’s true coin flip whether someone is going to take care of you or not. Yno is 5 stars. Bombshells, not so much.

This place just opened up, so I thought I’d come give it a try. My first impression of this place was pretty good. This should be a great place to come to watch a game or a fight with friends.
I got the Pearl Harbor burger without the pineapple. That burger was really good. The barbecue sauce that comes on it is really good. I would highly recommend it. I’ll look forward to trying different things on the menu.
The service wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it certainly wasn’t the worst. This is only the second day that they’ve been open, so that could have something to do with it.
There’s a part of the restaurant towards the back that kinda has a back porch vibe. Every table has it’s own TV. That’s cool.
The whole vibe in the place as a whole is pretty good. I would definitely recommend people come in to try this place out.

I waited over 1hr-30mins for someone to take my order. The last person I thought that was going to take my order was the manager on duty, this is horrible. The manager shouldn’t be doing the servers job. This place has worst customer service than the Thai place I went to in Georgia.

Eventhough, I was promptly seated and ordered a beer and a cup with water to start my review. I didn’t receive my cup of water. The restaurant continued to get busier as the time passed. Although, i was entertained by the amount of tvs and different sports playing. I was getting hungry. Normally, I would leave after 20 minutes, but since I love doing reviews and giving people my honest thoughts and experience, I stayed. The food was good. I had the blackened chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The main room is clean as well as the restrooms. Was it worth the wait, no it wasn’t. HOWEVER, THERE’S DEFINITELY ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT HERE.

Observing for reviews I can tell you the manager has his heart in the right place but he needs to get rid of the extra baggage.

First time eating here. We were not impressed. It wasnt busy so we were suprised it took over an hour for them to make a salad that was all wilted and brown and over cooked old beef street tacos.
