I went into the restaurant not feeling great for a number of reasons, but needing something to eat before a long drive. It was quiet, but there were two tables occupied, and what I saw on both looked amazing both in how it was served and how it smelled.
I was asked if I would dine in and take out, and at first I was going to do take out, but I’m really glad I stayed to dine in.
The server was super lovely and answered my questions about the meal and just generally made me feel at ease and welcome. The music was great and the longer I sat at my booth the more glad I was I had dined in! I don’t even usually take photos of my food but I wanted to send it to my my family.
I was appreciative that vegetarian options were listed (maybe even vegan but I can’t remember now) and again the server was great – she knew the menu and totally helped when I asked her opinion between two. There were lots of vegetarian options and I had leftovers for a few days – super delicious and filling and amazing.
Just wanted to thank them / spread the word for really being lovely. I left feeling a lot better than I was feeling when I arrived 🙂

Food:

Speaking about food, I recommend “Ghee Karam Dosa” . It’s yummy and perfect. The good thing is they ask you the spice level while you are ordering.

We also tried few other items like Masala Dosa, Appetizer platter, Samosa chaat and Schezwan chicken fried rice; everything was okay. We felt, fried rice got a bit dominant taste of ginger.

Service: DAMN!!!The waiters speak good. BUT THE GAP BETWEEN YOUR ORDER AND THEIR PREPARATION TAKES ONE HELL OF A TIME. For every dish, we waited like 35 – 40 mins and the thing is WHEN WE WENT, IT’S not even busy .

Recommendation: I suggest, this place has good food options and can compete well with all other Indian restaurants in New Haven but before that, improving customer service, wait time , and the visibility of restaurant might help you.

Overall, worth the money but you gotta have patience if you visit this place .

Ambience is casual. Server was good, pretty cheerful lady. I am so glad to find a dosa nearby New Haven! Dosa was good, sambar and chutneys were good too. My bae ordered chicken wrap, he said it was alright!

Found this place from google, menu seemed pretty decent. Food was okayish. We ordered veg platter mix of pakora, samosa and aloo tiki, paneer handi and chef special dal and tandoori roti and garlic naan. Food was quite spicy. It was takeout order. May be one more time will try as dine in.

I recently dined at here and I was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the exceptional service. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious options, with fresh ingredients and creative dishes that cater to all tastes. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal.

What stood out the most was the impeccable service. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience, paying attention to every detail without being intrusive. The timing of the courses was perfect, and they were quick to accommodate any requests.

If want to try indo Chinese food.. I would definitely recommend this place. Noodles was great.. we had ordered haka noodles with chicken.. the chicken seemed bit over fried though.. but it was still good. We did try out the manchow chicken soup .. not much to my liking.. but it wasn’t bad…the chili chicken was good .. we had also tried the kolkapuri chicken … though not close to authentic taste but definitely one of the best you would get around this areas. Usually the dishes indo Chinese are not available around this area … so I would recommend this place for indo Chinese food.

Possibly the best saag paneer I’ve ever had and I used to live in Jackson Heights, Queens where some of the best Indian restaurants are located. The menu is huge. Lots of dishes to try! Unfortunately, the interior is kind of ugly so I think it would have to be take-out next time. Didn’t help that the heat wasn’t working and they had an electric heater hooked up. I was still cold. But that saag paneer was definitely a 5 star dish

The working staff was good, but the maintenance is terrible. They didn’t even turn on the air conditioner; instead, there were only two coolers. Additionally, there were no napkins on the tables.
Regarding the food, I ordered chili chicken, onion dosa, and chicken noodles. The chili chicken was the worst thing I’ve ever had in my life—it wasn’t fresh at all. The noodles were undercooked and tasted raw. The dosa was not bad, though.
My rating is 1/5.
