(I ordered the sauce and slaw on the side so I could try everything on its own but man, it really pulls the entire sandwich together! So so good!)
Additionally, I almost got hit by their delivery car driving aggressively THE WRONG WAY down a one-way street. Where do you find these people?

Hello! This is a detailed breakdown and honest review of Tendeez Hot Chicken in Oshkosh Wisconsin
Ordering Experience:
This location has two options for ordering. You may either order online or on-site using on of the provided tablets. I chose to place my order online. The menu is somewhat limited which I appreciated as it gives the impression that they serve only their specialization which hints at great food. As I did not use the tablets, I cannot speak to those.
Atmosphere:
Upon entering the facility I was quite shocked that there was nobody to be found. I understand that this is a grab-n-go location but I always kind of expect there to at least be a public-facing employee who greets you upon entry. I was not greeted by anybody nor did I even see an employee at all. The pick-up spot, which they cleverly name “The Nesting Box” was easy to use and kept the food warm. I gave Tendeez two stars for atmosphere because I think the branding is great, but the atmosphere of the building it self feels cold and empty. This would not be a factor for people who order delivery.
Food:
For my meal I ordered 2 Sliderz, one mild and one hot, and a side of curly fries. Starting with the curly fries, I think the portion was generous and the flavor was okay, but they were a little underdone for my preference. I do understand, however, that different people have different preferences on doneness. The sweet buns for the sliders were very good, as well as the slaw. Both of those items were spot on. The chicken, however left much to be desired. I was unfortunately disappointed with the chicken. I was very excited to try it as the chicken is their specialty. For my order, the chicken was very overdone. The breading was extremely crunchy with the last couple bites of each tender being nothing but fried breading. The meat was dry and chewy, having to chew it for a while before swallowing. The seasoning is okay, nothing to write home about. If you are wondering which spice level to choose, I would recommend going one lower that normal. If you normally order a “medium” spice level, you would probably want to order mild here. The spice here defaults higher. It is called Tendeez HOT Chicken after all. Don’t expect zero spice. I think the price is fair for what you get.
Overall:
Ultimately, I think there is some vey good potential here, with a little tweaking. The branding is good, the food is overall mediocre, and the atmosphere was uninviting. I think if they could get their chicken frying time down, tweak the spices a little bit, and have a greeter for those that enter the building (even if its a kitchen member), this could grow into being a great contender in the ever-competitive chicken market. As of now, I think there are better options out there.
Side note:
I was reading some of the companies responses to criticism here on Google Reviews. I was extremely turned off by the response given to a gentleman named Brad 5 months ago. He left a 1 star review and Tendeez proceeded to tear his review apart with their fact findings. I have worked customer service for over 12 years and I know all too well that the customer is NOT always right. However, posting that publicly to Google was pretty distasteful. Those are conversations that can be had privately while addressing customer concerns.
