I was only in town from 2 days and had their pizza both days. The Pioneer, added jalapenos, and they made a Chicken Beacon Ranch pizza, again with jalapenos and both were excellent!! The staff were super cool and very friendly!! Highly recommend going here if you’re anywhere near the area!

We had the gluten free, 10 inch pizzas for carry-out. One with pepperoni and one with the Chicken Bacon Ranch. We really liked the gluten free crust – almost more than the regular crust. Great service. Great food.

What a happy surprise to find such a tasty restaurant on the way to my daughter’s volleyball game. Food was fresh and tasted homemade. Pizza was authentic and just the right portion. My favorite was dipping the toasted ravioli in their homemade Alfredo

Great service, very friendly. The drinks were good, however the cream cheese stuffed mushrooms and the pizza had to be the best we have had. The absolute best. Thank you. Definitely recommend and we will be back. Thank you Miranda for the best service. She was pregnant and had to be tired. She was busy and on her feet, but her smile never faltered.

I wanted to eat at a nice place traveling back to Colorado. This was it! Our server was hilarious. I dont think he meant to be, but he was. Just so down to earth and genuinely honest. I am very very picky about pizza, and it was outstanding. The crust was flavorful, almost like sourdough. I also ordered spaghetti. Outstanding! Loved every bite, even though I couldn’t finish it. Even the simple salad that came with my meal was thoughtfully put together and delicious. The owner came and talked to everyone, which I also appreciated. I would definitely drive out of my way to go here again the next time I’m on the road. I have nothing negative to say! It was a very pleasant experience.

We went there for the first time for our anniversary. We were the only customers in the restaurant the entire time. The only good thing there was the pizza. The house salad wasn’t very good and should be served in a bowl, not a plate. We got the wagon wheels that were a bit burnt. The chicken alfredo was bad, the chicken in it tasted really weird. I got the pulled pork pizza and it was good. Our waitress was in experienced and inattentive. After we finished eating we waited 20 minutes for our waitress so we could pay because she was no where to be seen. I had to go to the back of the restaurant to find her behind a wall on her phone. I don’t think I’ll be going back there anytime soon.

1872 has a warm, inviting atmosphere with low lighting, exposed brick, and original hardwood floors that give it real character. Our group tried a variety of pizzas. They were all excellent!! —crispy crust, fresh toppings, and great flavor. A perfect spot for good food and drinks.

It’s been awhile since my last review we really haven’t been trying new places. Well tonight we did me my wife my sister and our children all went to 1872. Upon arrival there was only one table and we noticed that it has a very rustic Italian feel very nice. Or server was Ashley and she was hands down amazing. The food was not good I got a meatball sub my wife and sister got spaghetti and meatballs and our two kids got kids spaghettis andy nephew got a pizza. We should have ordered pizza as it was the best thing on the table but that’s not saying much as the rest of the food was lackluster at best. The appetizer was jalapeno popper dip which came out with 6 small toast points and the dip was in a piece of bread we all couldn’t figure out how we where supposed to eat it. My sub had 4 half meatballs on a sourdough sub roll so for 12 dollars I got two meatballs cut in half which where good for Sysco meatballs. The adult spaghettis only had three half meatballs on it and when we took out the pasta it measured the same as the kids spaghetti so we where charged 7 extra dollars for 3 half meatballs. The sauce was not even as good as prego. My nephews pizza was good but that’s the only thing. Overall at 100 dollars for the meal I was disappointed with the food overall. For looking like a good rustic Italian restaurant we got subpar Italian food that wasn’t even as good as olive garden. I expected more..we won’t be back and I felt bad for the customers all dressed up for a nice meal. As a chef and in the business for 20 plus years I leave these reviews as my opinion you don’t have to take my word for it.
