We waited over 30 minutes to get fried pickles as an app! Not one person checked in to see if we were ok! The food was good/ ok. We had our dinner roughly 50 minutes after ordering! Thank God I had cash on me! Never realized it was a cash or check restaurant! Not a great experience….

Great steaks and shrimp. Wait staff are good. They are busy so you will wait for your food but not that bad. We had a party of 6 and it was full. We waited 20 minutes but worth it!!

Tried to order the hamburger steak with no onions, just gravy for lunch, and the waitress told me that she would have to charge me $3.00 more if I just got brown gravy on my hamburger steak because they don’t have just plain brown gravy. But on the menu, they had country fried with brown gravy available and mashed potatoes with just plain brown gravy. I’m not paying $3.00 more for just plain gravy on my hamburger steak with you trying to feel me with the lie of we don’t have it made they’d have to make it special made to order for you. So I ordered just mashed potatoes for my lunch. And they came out with brown gravy, but they dont have just plain brown gravy. Another problem was the attitude from the waitress. I don’t have time for all that. First and last visit to this restaurant for me.

Great little local restaurant. I had the medium cheese burger and sweet potato fries, which was plenty and and then some. Then I had the banana pudding. Next time I will get the small burger so I can have more banana pudding. That banana pudding is delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. Carry cash because they do not accept credit cards.

I always try to give locally owned restaurants my patronage, but I was disappointed. After placing the order, the wait was 40+ minutes, for a couple of burgers. It was a Friday night, but the place wasn’t that crowded. We asked the waitress about the wait and was told that orders are cooked in the order they were placed, yet others that came in after us were served first. When we got the food, it was overcooked and dry. I don’t like to be critical, but it was my honest experience. First and last visit.

A rare gem in a small town… friendly home town atmosphere, great tasting food. Fried pickles are the real deal, and not greasy. Sweet potatoe fries were nice and tasty. The rib eye steak flavor was awesome & cooked to perfection! Only downfall was the $27 price for a thin rib eye.
