New Jimmy John’s in town? Had to go break them in! The sandwich of sandwiches just opened in Stevensville, Michigan. Really good sandwiches, freaky fast, usually.
The food was fresh, meat, and good! I enjoyed the ultimate Italian sandwich, tried a wrap, and got a brownie. Unexpectedly, my bread was toasted, and it gave the sandwich even more great taste. Great sandwich, Jimmy John’s!
The atmosphere was awesome! The atmosphere had that brand new store smell. I love how clean the restaurant was, and it was great seeing the staff continually clean the restaurant. Great!
The service was good. Nothing to call home about, but it was good!
Very good first day at Jimmy John’s! They are my go to, so I have a reason to have many lunches there!

I have been to this Jimmy John’s location 2x now, and I can say it is the worst Jimmy John’s I have ever been to.
The first experience, I was 2nd in line inside the restaurant and I counted 8 employees behind the counter. Most of the employees were just standing there chatting with nothing to do, however, it still took 10 minutes for me to get my one sandwich.
The second experience, I went through the drive-through today. There were 2 vehicles in front of me. It was a 10-15 minute wait before I was able to drive up to the window. There was no apology for the lengthy wait. After paying and leaving a tip on the card-reader, I was told my sandwich would be out shortly. I waited another 5 minutes before I received the sandwich. The employee handed me my sandwich and closed the window without even saying single word to me. There was no “Thank-You”, even as I left a tip. I find this type of customer service unacceptable.
I am leaving the One-Star review due to the poor customer service and excessive wait times. Jimmy John’s has the slogan, “Freaky Fast”, and I can usually count on them for good, quality, fast service, at literally every other location I have ever visited. If this is the standard for this location, I will not be returning. Alternatively, I would recommend any of the other fast-food restaurants (Culvers, DQ, Burger King, Subway) on Red Arrow Hwy, in Stevensville, for better customer service and much faster wait times for fast-food.

This is the slowest place ever. I get they are kind of new still but honestly should be better by now. They always have a bunch of people in there working but just standing around and ordering online still makes you wait 30 minutes to pick up after you wait 15-20 minutes to go pick up your food.

Clean, good food but I have 2 problems and my problem that’s directed to this location is that the staff is a bit ignorant and this location is the only drive-thru that I have to literally yell at for the operator to hear me. Now second issue is that they want me to tip them at a drive through and there’s no option for 0%. I’m sorry that it may sound rude but if I’m going to tip at a restaurant it’s not going to be at a drive-thru especially. If this is a jimmy johns issue for their payment system then disregard that but they didn’t have this when the restaurant opened at first so…..

They make good food but seem mainly ignore their pick up orders. We have ordered 30 or 40 minutes in advance and we have to wait 20 to 30 minutes in the store for our order. I truly don’t think they start making it until you get there.

Ordered for pickup and was lucky to get the last parking spot. Parking was difficult and very tight. Staff was friendly and food was good.

Also ordered delivery a different time. After waiting and waiting we got a text that Uber was delivering even though I ordered directly from JJ’s. Estimated time of over an hour with one stop on their way. Not very freaky fast… don’t recommend getting delivery!

We were so excited to get a new Jimmy Johns location in Stevensville. Unfortunately, it missed the mark. I called in a to go order, like I do for the Saint Joseph location. 30 minutes later I arrived at the store to see workers out back smoking cigars, a line of cars around the store, and a parking lot that is cramped. I walked in and no one addressed me. After 5 minutes I asked one of the other customers how long they had been waiting. He replied “an hour.” I left the store and called to cancel my order that they had not even started. Jimmy Johns has made a mistake by not having corporate or experienced workers come in a train staff appropriately. I understand this is newly opened but I would speak to the staff immediately about their unprofessional behavior.

The girl at the window handed me a machine that asked me to tip. There was no option for No Tip. If you don’t want to tip, you have to hit Custom Amount and enter $0. No other fast food place does this. It’s uncomfortable and unnecessary to tip when no product or service has even been received yet. Then the food itself came out burnt. I was being pressured to pay extra for burnt food.

So excited about JJ, been ordering the Italian Nightclub daily! Unfortunately, felt very uncomfortable with the drive thru girl asking for a tip, felt very awkward… will just start going back to St. Joe’s… :/. Sad because I had an older lady who was the sweetest to my dog the day prior!
