Nice cozy bar with nautical themed decor and a large outdoor patio area that carries on the theme. Service was excellent and drink prices were very reasonable. We sat at a covered area on the outside patio and enjoyed the atmosphere and whole vibe of the place.

Great bar with good chill vibes, especially the backyard patio. Nice atmosphere for conversation and isn’t too loud. Definitely right up my alley. No kitchen, which is fine. It’s just meant to be a bar to chill, but plenty of food nearby.

A nautical-themed bar on Ives St, Captain’s Seaweeds is a fun little bar. It has some elements of a dive bar, but I wouldn’t really call it that. While they do have a pool table and fairly cheap beer, imbibers are generally from around the neighborhood, not really the typical dive bar crowd. I mean, there was a group playing with Beyblades when we came. They don’t serve food, but there are a couple good options nearby and they’ll let you bring in takeout. They do have an outdoor area when the weather’s nice, but during the winter the bar tends to get pretty crowded. Lots of nautical themed decorations, which help give it a unique character. All in all, a good option if you’re coming for a few drinks and then heading home, but it’s a little out of the way if you’re trying to bar hop or don’t live in the area.

Pool table and chill atmosphere. Playing pool is a little tough here because it’s in a corner with a bunch of awesome trinkets around so you have to be careful not knock any over. The outside is so nice in the summer! Also I wasn’t drinking that night and the bartender let me go get a milkshake from Like No Udder (awesome vegan ice cream shop right next door) and bring it in to the bar so I could have something to drink while my friends got plastered.

If you’re looking for a fun little dive bar to have a cocktale, meet local characters, shoot a little pool, listen to some tunes & chill, this is it. Great Atmosphere – nice size – great service. I haven’t tried the food but I bet it’s great. I think there’s a patio too. Recommended.
