When I rate restaurants at this price point, I hold them to the standard of renowned steakhouses like Wolfgang’s Steakhouse and Peter Luger Steak House, and 14 Prime absolutely measures up. Every detail is executed with care and confidence.
The Kentucky Strip, in particular, is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had at any steakhouse and I don’t say that lightly. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and memorable.
If you’re looking for a truly exceptional steakhouse experience, 14 Prime delivers in every way.
Now, the food… absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with fresh, high quality ingredients you can taste in every bite. We ordered the salmon tartare, argentinian shrimp, flat iron steak, ribeye, and lobster mac, and each one was unforgettable.
What impressed me most were the details this restaurant didn’t overlook. The entire experience felt exclusive, almost like a members only club, yet it’s simply a restaurant that genuinely values its customers. My husband and I are already planning our next visit. It is on the pricier side, but worth every single dollar. We’d pay it again in a heartbeat.
Truly an experience everyone should have!
We celebrated my friend’s birthday, and the restaurant congratulated her with a bouquet. Everyone who works at this restaurant was very attentive and caring, they know their dishes, pay attention to details and requests, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and private.
The food was also delicious; I really liked the dish I ordered.
The chef was so kind to give each guest a coffee and a muffin with a signed card to take home—it’s truly a delight.
Later, when I was at home, I carefully checked their social media, and I realized that this restaurant helps children with cancer.
Specifically, there are some designated items on the menu that, when ordered, donate the price of the dish to a foundation for children with cancer in need.
I was very impressed and will definitely return to order something else from the menu with such notes.
Everything was great, thank you very much, keep up the good work!
We ordered the freshly table side made mozzarella which was delicious! The filter mignon was perfect. This restaurant is truly a great add to the Jacksonville area and a place we will return.
We also had the french onion tortellini for a starter. If you like french onion you will want to drink the broth or use to dip bread in. Absolutely heavenly!
For entrees we had the 14 prime burger & spaghetti carbonara. Between the caramelized onions and truffle raclette cheese on the burger it was rich and satisfying.
For drinks we tried a bloody mary, an 11th hour sprintz, and a vodka martini. They were all great and thoughtfully garnished.
Staff was very awesome and attentive, formal and proper. I noticed other reviews about how loud it is, it was not loud at all and at times playing feel good music. Again, it was brunch so probably a different atmosphere than dinner I imagine.
The only improvement I noted would be the dress code enforcement. Even with a reminder reservation text about it, about half of the people were there in flip flops and t shirts. I really don’t care, I’m a very come as you are person however it could elevate the atmosphere.
Amazing experience overall.
I’ve seen the social media posts on the extra large cinnamon roll so we went for that specifically and while it wasn’t the best cinnamon roll in the world, it was good. They spread the cream cheese icing on it as a show and then cut it up for you. We were a group of 6 and it was enough for 6 of us.
As for the food itself, we started with two pastry bread baskets (banana nut bread, cranberry muffin and croissant with a cinnamon spread).
I had the pancake which was delicious!! Highly recommend. While prices are high (obviously) the portions are plenty!
My entire grip enjoyed all their choices, we will be back to try the dinner menu next.
