Our favorite little neighborhood coffee shop. They make delicious drinks, both hot and iced and never taste bitter. They get fun and creative with specialty drinks each season/month. The pastries are always delicious as well. It is a small space, so seating is limited if busy. They always have fun art and trinkets from local artists for sale, too!

Adorable little neighborhood shop. I got a latte and a muffin, and the espresso flavor came through well, making the drink a little on the strong side but that wasn’t a bad thing for me. The muffin was moist, and didn’t fall apart. I sat outside on the patio and it was delightful, quiet, and pleasant. I’m happy to add this to my rotation of coffee shops. If I lived in the neighborhood, I’d be in almost every day!

Cute little coffee shop with amazing service! Leah easily accommodated my request for a less sweet cinnamon toast crunch latte with a smile. The blueberry muffin was average

Updated Review!
Been back a few times over the year and the coffee is now much better! Love to see a little place like this thriving in NKC.

They have the potential to be a really great coffee shop, but there is an issue with the espresso shots being pulled. I have been twice with two different baristas with the same issue: the espresso shots are watery and then the drink tastes really off (very acidic??). BUT, I do think if this is fixed, the quality of the drinks will significantly improve!
They serve Blip coffee which is great and the pastries are a 10/10. The Little Store is also locally minded with artists and products, as well as in good standing with the neighborhood they’re in.

This is such a cute spot, one of my favorite coffee shops in KC. The coffee is yummy, the service is great, and the vibes are awesome. It can be a little pricey, and the seating is limited (especially in the winter). However, when you can snatch a seat, its definitely a great place to study and hang out with friends.

EDIT: THEY ARE LYING. I have two messages to them on FB and I described my experience and they never replied. This used to be an establishment for everyone in the Neighborhood, not just coffee drinkers. We could get breakfast, snacks, candy, lunch, dinner, to go food, candy bars, old and young went here. It was perfect for the high schoolers and there is a high school only a block from here. $7-10 lattes are not it for high schoolers but $2 slices of pizza was great for them, and they could get a soda with it. I get it, it is a Cute atmosphere! But Unfriendly owners and workers. I reached out regarding my bad experience and once they realized it was the owner that I had a bad experience with they stopped communicating with me. The chai latte was not good, watered down. The pasty was supposed to be “filled” but there was barely and filling. I live 3 blocks from here and love to walk. I’d love to wake up and walk to a cute coffee shop but I will not go here. It’s too bad this place turned into what it is.

Adorable little coffee shop filled with cute decor and whimsy! They had yummy and creative spring drink flavors, and we had a burrito that was also amazing. Totally will be back to try more drinks and soak in the cute cozy vibes!

Great atmosphere, a perfect pumpkin spice latte, friendly customer service and I found a beautiful clay coffee mug there I couldn’t leave behind. They also have a great little, grab-n-go protein ball; the same one in Nelson Atkins cafe. Delicious!

The Little Store on Knox is pure magic!
My absolute favorite treat here is their iced vanilla latte with cinnamon—it’s perfection in a cup. Every sip tastes like a hug. I also love that they showcase and sell items from local vendors—it feels good knowing you’re supporting the community while sipping something delicious. The staff is always so warm, friendly, and genuinely fun to chat with. The shop itself is cute, cozy, and has this charming, magical vibe that makes you want to stay all day. If you haven’t been yet, go… and then thank me later.
