This is easily one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve ever been to. The fish is fresh, the rolls are full of flavor, and the oshi sushi was especially delicious. The staff were friendly and made the whole experience even better. It was so good, I didn’t even think to take a photo until I was halfway through my meal. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow! Just wow! This place is an absolute gem! I came here to visit some friends and they’ve recommended coming here. This place blows my mind. The portions are huge, and their quality is superb! I know there are a lot of sushi restaurants in Vancouver, but this place is absolutely a must.

What a fantastic find!! We just happened to be in the area and the signage caught my eye. On a whim, we decided to give it a try.
The decor is simple and modern. They have a few small tables, with highchairs and booster seats available for little ones.
We came in for a light snack but ended up ordering a full meal because the there were so many great options to choose from.
The oshi sampler is fantastic!! The perfect way to try 3 different oshi sushi on one plate. I’d highly recommend the oshi bento – it’s delicious and you get so much for $19. The popcorn roll was amazing and it comes with a salad, so it’s practically a meal on its own.
The staff were incredibly friendly, which was just the cherry on top of the cake!
UPDATE: we’ve been back multiple times since our initial visit and each time, it gets better (if that’s even possible). The snow roll and the salmon/scallop flower are both INCREDIBLE!!! I’m seriously so impressed with this place.

After returning from a recent trip to Japan, we were craving sushi and decided to try out Hako. I’ll just say that the sushi here was better than anything we had in Japan. The service was prompt, all our food came super fast despite the kitchen clearly having numerous takeout/skip the dishes orders to fill as well. Everything was fresh, delicious, and perfect. Our server was awesome as well – she mentioned it was her first or second day serving there but you would not be able to tell by how attentive and knowledgeable she was. Will 100% be back!

I used to order the beef roll when I worked at the mall years ago and got some today, not the same beef!? It looks and tastes like dog food? Yuk I can’t even eat it!! Waste of money, dyno roll is good tho but stay away from the beef…
