DELICIOUS!!! it’s hasn’t been a time that I went and the food hasn’t been bad. It’s like they pray over this food. Everything on this place is so good. Eggplant potato salad pernil yuca arroz con gandules… now this is authentic.

The food is not as great as it should be for what a price they charged. Instead of trying to get what they don’t sell from one person, they should really think of being better in quality and service. Many times you don’t get clients m because of the service that you provide. It is a sad thing when a business takes advantage of where there are.

Expensive !! Not sure if I was overcharged bc I am black but based on the other reviews I believe they are overall expensive. I enjoyed the flan but the meats look dry which limited my choices. The lady who served me looked like she was not interested to be at work today. I won’t be back

The food is great , i come here often and have recommend them to my family and friends. The only thing that i don’t appreciate is the inconsistency in their pricing. They definitely over charge because they don’t even have their prices listed. No menu is displayed.

I called and even though it says They offered delivery service the lady on the phone said they Don’t deliver to my location when I am located in NEWARK less than 15minutes away from restaurant. On the picture attached here It clearly says DELIVERY SERVICE. Si no van a poder ofrecer un servicio de Delivery no lo ofrezcan en el internet. O Especifiquen el limite de millas u horario de dicho servicio.

Gracias.

Bottom line: they’ll overcharge you if you’re a non-Latino.

This has happened to me at more Latin restaurants that I have kept track of, so I knew what I was potentially getting into when I came here for the first time. I made sure to check their menu to see what price is listed for the item I was planning on ordering, which was $14. I ordered it and waited nearly 30 minutes for it to be ready (a dish that normally takes no longer than 15 minutes). They weren’t even busy, mind you.

Once it was time to pay, the employee tells me that it’ll cost $22. Hah. I pointed out the price on the menu and reassured her that I’m being overcharged. I couldn’t understand what she said after that, as the entire conversation was in Spanish and I’m not fluent at all, but I can tell that whatever she said probably wasn’t a legitimate reason as to why there’s a $6 price difference.

Because I waited so long, I decided to pay. They ended up charging me $20 after all of this, only partially scamming me after I called them out.

Overall, if you’re Latino I’m sure you’ll have a nice experience here, but if you’re not then I’d go to one of the many other Dominican restaurants in the area with the hope of not getting scammed based on race.

This place is a little hole in the wall but it is amazing! Their food is absolutely delicious! Best Dominican food around! I look forward to Saturday’s lunch because of their seafood paella. It is to die for! I usually get that and the oxtail, which is equally as amazing! They give big portions too. I highly recommend this spot. Great for lunch!!

Food is good yet TOO costly. A normal size service with rice, beans, and beef, or chicken costs around $13 bucks. A normal size lunch shouldn’t cost more than 8 or 9 dollars. A small hot oatmeal cup is $3.50 … Not coming back anymore. It’s just not worth it.
