Come try this coco bread and beef patties.
If you put the patty in the coco bread it makes it Real nice on the balance of flavors. Individually is good but together it’s sweet and savory!

A very special thank you to Auntie Kathy and the wonderful team at this restaurant. My 93-year-old mother, who is currently in a rehab facility, was craving Auntie Kathy’s soup — something she remembered and truly missed. Auntie Kathy spoke with her boss and went out of her way to prepare the soup for my Mom. That simple act meant more to us than words can express. The soup was delicious, comforting, and made with the kind of love you can’t buy. It brought my mother so much joy during a difficult time. Thank you, Auntie Kathy, for your generosity, your warm heart, and for treating us like family. This restaurant is a true gem, not just for the food, but for the people behind it. I highly recommend it.

Been coming here for Months now never been disappointed BUT TODAY! I come and spend $29 dollars on a large tray of ox tails for a total of 5 pieces all being small! I look shocked asked the lady why all of a sudden it’s less food and she says “we weigh it now idk i just work here” very disappointed and will not return for such small portions!

It was my first time trying jerk chicken and even though it was a bit dry, the sauce. Omg!!! The sauce made it soooo much better. The rice was a little under seasoned but overall the plate was very enjoyable. We also got beef patties and a chicken curry patty and they both were absolutely delicious. The service is great and the atmosphere is really good too. Definitely have to come back for some other stuff to keep on trying.

This is my first and last time eating here. As far as Jamaican food goes its a joke. The food was extremely salty and tasted nothing like Brown Stew. Not to mention what you see in the picture is $12 worth of food smh not even my children could get full off this amount they should be ashamed to serve this to adults. I should have read the review prior to know this is a recurring thing with them. The service was just as bad as I had to use the kiosk in an empty restaurant instead of simply just taking my order. I dont see how this or any business can feel comfortable serving people not even a barely one cut up piece of chicken for that price. As a Jamaican I feel ashamed. Until they fix the portions, service or go down on the pricing STAY AWAY. I’m almost 1000% positive they will try to spin this but what you see in the photo is all I got and based on the other review this is a known issue that STILL has not been fixed. Money wasted

I recently visited Jamaica Jamaica Island Cuisine. The customer service was great. The staff was friendly and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. The pineapple ginger juice was a standout. It was absolutely amazing. The curry patties were also delicious, with a flaky, soft coating and flavorful chicken inside.
However, the brown stew chicken didn’t quite meet my expectations. The chicken wasn’t as seasoned to my liking, and the rice and peas were a bit dry. Despite this, my overall experience was a pleasant one.

Jerk chicken is just baked chicken with seasoned skin, no flavor past the skin.
Rice and peas, bland! Looks like white rice and taste like white rice.
Cabbage is steamed with no seasoning or flavor
“Jerk sauce” taste like A1 steak sauce with some kind of spicy hot sauce.
I won’t be rude and mention the name, but I’m leaving here to go eat at another jamaican restaurant.

The red pea soup with beef was very good, but I got sick from the curry goat, and I don’t blame the restaurant because I did Door Dash, and the person who delivered my is not person and Door Dash and they pulled in parking lot for 5 minutes before they gave me my food. Had I known it was my order, I wouldn’t have touched it. I did report this to Door Dash because that’s a dangerous game. A female name, yet a dude, brings my food and doesn’t speak to me when I question who he is.

When I tell you these are the best oxtails I’ve ever had in my life! I kid you not. Perfect flavor for the oxtails, rice and gravy. The meat on the oxtails was falling off the bone and was so buttery soft, they melt in your mouth. I will forever compare these oxtails to anywhere else I get them. They do not disappoint!
