Stopped by Live Oak Restaurant Sports Grill in Three Rivers and had a great experience! The fish platter was excellent, and that baked potato was delicious. Friendly, attentive service from the staff made the meal even better. Plus, the Arnold Palmer was spot on. Highly recommend for a solid meal!

Fried mushrooms.. not stuffed that’s ok they were still tasty after all the huaxvanas to know cause it was hot in the inside.. My husband ordered a burger he didn’t let me take a picture of the food . It looked xl he barely finished it. Great place to stop and eat

Everything about this place is low grade. Water tastes like crap. Waiter was a timid school kid who looked 12. I asked him how big the chicken fried steak was and he said running over the plate to small. Thats a hell of a range! Took one bite and it tasted like a TV dinner. Fries literally tasted double fried and so greasy. Salad bar was small and that’s OK if it wasn’t mostly empty. AND BE CAREFUL, the cashier said she reserved the right to charge more than menu price, and proceeded to charge $4 more for the nachos that my of gor, and btw they were legit cold. If your in between corpus and San Antonio, stay away from 3 rivers all together. That giant factory is polluting the water and the whole town in general.

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. On the way back from SPI, TX my family and I stopped here to eat. The food was amazing and the service was tremendous! The waitress catered to our every need, and answered any questions we had about the menu. The atmosphere inside the restaurant portion was very western/ Texan so if you are someone who is very sensitive to that maybe this place is not for you. This place was great for my family and I. There is a bar connected to the restaurant as well.

The food my family ate:
The enchilada plate:
MOE burger
Chicken fried steak
Fish tacos
Texas loaded burrito

No one had any complaints about their food and the sweet tea was phenomenal. This place was an amazing spontaneous decision for my family and I.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Live Oak Restaurant in Three Rivers gave my family one of the most welcoming dining experiences we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was lively, warm, and full of friendly energy from both the staff and even the customers around us.

Our waitress, Adelita Alvarez, was absolutely amazing. She noticed that my daughter has a disability and thoughtfully brought her cheesesticks while we were waiting. That small act of kindness meant more than words can explain. Ms. Alvarez was kind, caring, attentive, and treated us with genuine respect the entire time. She made us feel seen and welcome.

After a horrible experience at Pizza Hut in Bastrop, TX where we were met with stares, unprofessional service, and discriminatory treatment because of my daughter’s disability, walking into Live Oak felt like a breath of fresh air. The difference in compassion and professionalism was night and day. I would choose Live Oak 1,000 times over before ever considering going back to Pizza Hut.

The food was great, the staff was wonderful, and the kindness we were shown will not be forgotten. Thank you, Ms. Alvarez, for making our family feel welcome. We will absolutely be back soon.

During my travels, I like to try new spots, so I wanted to give this location a go. The atmosphere and service were great even with ordering my meal to go. The food itself was 50-50 with the wings and coleslaw packing the most flavor despite the small sizes. Would definitely not order the loaded fries, and the onion rings were just ok and could have used the flavor love given to the wings. Overall not bad, and may try again for the burgers as their menu has a variety of options.

Great food.
Absolutely, one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. Bone in ham was the best.
Stopped back again in the afternoon as I drove back to the RGV. Ordered a mushroom burger, and wings. Everything was great.
