Love how close a delicious pizza place is! Since I came with Yelp we had a specialty pizza that was really delicious, with Bolognese on top, in a very interesting, new style. I haven’t tried before. I am usually a meat lover or a white pizza person, but adding the meat on top of the white pizza was actually very delicious. My mom just got the classic Bianca pizza, and it was really good. I had a slice myself, and loved it. We also tried the fried risotto balls, which were really good, served with a side of marinara. The location is really cute, and everyone was so friendly inside. Glad this is so close to me because I’II definitely be back here again.

As someone with celiac disease, finding pizza this good—and genuinely safe—in Jacksonville is honestly life-changing. Rodrigo’s Craft Pizza is hands-down the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had, and I don’t say that lightly.

My go-to order is the calzone, Margherita pizza, and burrata, and every single time it’s perfection. The dough is unreal (crispy, airy, and full of flavor—not that sad gluten-free substitute taste), the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the portions are so generous that I always have leftovers.
What really says everything is that my non-gluten-free family eats here with me and genuinely loves it. They don’t feel like they’re “settling” for gluten-free at all—it’s just really amazing pizza that everyone can enjoy.
The quality compared to the pricing is absolutely worth it—this is how pizza should be done. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and if you ever get the chance to talk to the owner, do it. He’s incredibly kind and passionate, and it clearly shows in every detail and every bite.

If you’re gluten-free (or not!) and looking for thoughtfully made, authentic pizza in Jacksonville, this place is a must. Nothing else compares.

Excellent service. I really appreciate the staff taking the time to explain the menu. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Our burrata appetizer was great. I enjoyed the burrata baked in pizza dough.

We got a blanco pizza and margharita with pepperoni. Both were delicious! The sauce was flavorful and balanced, but the standout for me was the pizza dough/crust. Light and airy with a nice crisp on the bottom and it tasted wonderful. The outer portion of the crust had just the right amount of crisp with chewiness on the inside. All the ingredients tasted very fresh.

I’m looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. Crafted flavor and presentation in a casual, easy going, clean environment. I can see why people rave about this place.

If you’re craving thoughtfully crafted pizza in Riverside, Rodrigo’s Craft Pizza at 1029 Park Street is the kind of place that reminds you why simple ingredients, handled with care, make all the difference.

This family-owned gem has quickly become a local favorite, and it’s easy to see why. Their Neo-Neapolitan pies start with long-fermented dough that delivers that perfect balance—light, airy, slightly chewy with a beautifully blistered crust. The use of imported San Marzano tomatoes and top-tier ingredients shines through in every bite. Nothing feels rushed or ordinary here; everything feels intentional.

We had the pleasure of attending a special event hosted by Gabi and owner/operator Alex, and hearing Chef Alex share the story behind the concept made the experience even more meaningful. What began as a passion project in a small NYC apartment during the pandemic has grown into a thriving Jacksonville pizzeria rooted in craft, heart, and community. That authenticity carries into the food.

The space itself is inviting and spotless, with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. I especially enjoyed the walls lined with history and the open view behind the glass where you can watch the pizzas being made fresh. There’s something satisfying about seeing the craftsmanship firsthand, right down to the curated craft beverage station.

The Little Blanca pizza was a standout—crust baked to perfection with generous, high-quality toppings. Even the gluten-free option held its own, proving that flavor and quality are never compromised here. And dessert? The tres leches cheesecake was unforgettable. Perfectly soaked, topped with airy meringue, pistachio crumbles, and a caramel drizzle that tied everything together beautifully.

From arancini and burrata to fresh salads and house-made sauces, the menu offers plenty more to explore. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your return.

Perfectly situated in Five Points, Rodrigo’s is ideal whether you’re grabbing a casual slice, meeting friends for dinner, or lingering over a drink. A true neighborhood spot with big flavor and even bigger heart.

Rodrigo’s Craft Pizza is a win across the board. The space is clean, organized, and thoughtfully designed, with warm wood details and pizza boards on the walls that immediately set the tone—this place takes its craft seriously.

The food absolutely delivers. The pizza and calzones are fresh, flavorful, and well-executed, with perfectly baked dough and quality ingredients. A standout is their gold burrata prosciutto calzone—burrata stuffed into the dough, finished with arugula and a balsamic glaze. Rich, balanced, and indulgent without being heavy.

You can tell care goes into everything here, from presentation to taste. If you’re looking for artisan-style pizza and calzones done right, Rodrigo’s is worth the stop—and the repeat visit.

Beyond their Neapolitan pizza—which is super authentic (beautifully charred, not overly gooey, and made with fresh ingredients)—I want to highlight their hidden gem: the Nutella and banana dessert pizza. It was genuinely mind-blowing. The airy crust is similar to their savory pizzas but more indulgent, topped with crunchy pistachios, Nutella, and banana slices. If you prefer it less sweet, ask for half the Nutella. Overall, the service is efficient, and there’s a cute, cozy seating area in the back.

Absolutely amazing pizza! so flavorful and perfectly made. They offer gluten-friendly options, which I really appreciated. The place is comfortable, the music is great, and the staff is super friendly. Alex, the owner, is incredibly nice and welcoming. Even though I live 40 minutes away, it’s 100% worth the drive. Highly recommend!

Nestled in the Five Points neighborhood of Jacksonville, Rodrigo’s offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior is clean and cozy, setting the perfect tone for a relaxed and satisfying dining experience.
The pizza is outstanding, a true tribute to Italian tradition. The dough is particularly noteworthy: well-fermented and matured, it results in a light, flavorful crust that’s both easy to digest and never heavy. The ingredients used are of excellent quality, selected to complement the dough without overpowering it. The balance of flavors and textures speaks to a deep understanding of the craft.
The owner’s passion for real Italian pizza shines through in every detail, and the staff, likely family, bring warmth, attentiveness, and authenticity that make you feel right at home. Rodrigo’s is a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Italian pizza in Jacksonville. A highly recommended stop for both locals and visitors alike.
