Visiting the area and was looking forward to a “hole in the wall” type bar. Service was quick and friendly. I was happy with what I found until my first drink. Ordered an alcoholic beverage “straight.” I know my liquor and I GUARANTEE the alcohol was EXTREMELY diluted. Management should be ashamed. I was so disappointed I didn’t order any food. I just paid for the watered-down drink and left.

This bar is just like cheers where everybody knows your name. It’s definitely a hotspot in Wheeling if you’re ever in town and you want to hop in place to just chill have some wings, drink a beer. This is the place to go.

The Hole always had good food, but tonight it was terrible. I had a meatball sub, with very little sauce, which is weird for a meatball sub. Cream cheese poppers were soggy and falling apart. I tossed 2 because they were crumbled. The funnel cake fries were also soggy. Not sure what has happened, but tonight was the worst experience I’ve had in all the years I’ve been there. Sub was already tossed in the garbage. That was the last bad experience 10/10 don’t recommend.

The only place in the city to get wings. The staff is feeling good happy – and it shows. You walk in the door – and they are already handing you what you have to drink. That’s respect. And service. Clean comfortable environment. Food is hot and fresh. Generous portions. And they sponsor and support your Wheeling Nailers. Very important. Go here today. And tip your bartenders.

The wing honey bbq with garlic season sprinkled awesome with crispy fries is the best and the bartender was one of the best serving I ever had environment was very peaceful and customer awesome as well the vibe was very giving

Best wings in the area hands down. Make sure you get a wet sauce though. I ordered the garlic parm and it was a dry rub. No flavor. Get the hot! They will not burn your mouth, but the flavor keeps you wanting more. Insanely busy place on Sundays though. Do take out.

Enjoyed this place. Great little dive bar (not an insult we love to go to dive bars and I work at one). Prices seemed fair/ average. The two girls working could have been a little nicer/ friendlier to us they were always talking to the regulars when there were people that needed a drink and when it came down to us needing a drink or a regular needing one also the regular always got theirs first even if we needed ours first. The girls just need to be a little nicer to the out of town people. However we will probably go back whenever we are in the area.
