Amazing Chinese food served with cozy modern vibes. Beef noodles are amazingly chewy and delicate. A gem in Altadena/Pasasena area. This is the only modern Chinese restaurant that makes you feel relaxed enough to have a drink with friends and share a great meal. Completely forgot to take a photo of the ice cream in a fried bao which is a requirement for any meal at Woon

Tried this place for the first time. It’s nice. Love the decor. We’ve bought their sauces before. Lives up to the hipster hype. Modern Chinese. Beef Noodle, noodles were fresh and tasted great! Pork over rice was good. Kailan is super fresh. Overall loved it for what it is. Simple modern Chinese fare. Glad we came.

10/10!!! Odered beef noodles, fried rice, gai lan, pork bao, milk tea, and cold brew tea. All of them were so delicious, but the fried rice especially was incredible! Finished eating right before closing, and we were given free pastries! Also very delicious… This place exceeded my expectations in food, service, and ambience. What a beautiful restaurant

2 pcs of tofu with 3 cold pickled vegetable? Almost 30 dollars with a small side. Very disappointed. At least sauté or stir fry some greens…. Service was excellent, atmosphere was a nice twist on traditional Chinese decor

Really good food, great interiors, recommend going when/before they open to avoid waiting in line

How to order: wait in line until you get to the cashier, where you’ll order, receive a table number, and either be seated right away or asked to wait to the side until a table frees up. I recommend grabbing a menu in front while you wait in line so you know what to order when you get to the front.

Brunch is great – the chicken congee and pork chop sandwich are delicious. If you’re already ordering a pork chop sandwich and a milk tea French toast, I’d skip getting an additional bolo bao from the pastry case because it’s the same bolo bao from the pork sandwich and the same oolong custard from the French toast

Dinner is also really good, highly recommend the noodles which have a satisfying chew to them, the chicken wings, and the pork belly bao. They also have a great curation of canned drinks and wine.

What an absolute gem, this restaurant is superb. The atmosphere is very casual but the food is extremely delicious and made with care. The value is great, everything is reasonably priced with nice portions and full of flavor. The pork belly melts in your mouth and is very satisfying. The noodles are so chewy and tastes wonderful. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth checking out and trying different dishes.

Fun spot with good chill vibes. I love the decor that weaves traditional Chinese elements with modern branding. Super fun. Food was good! The most memorable dish for me was the beef noodles – the wok hei (smokey charred flavour) was amazing!! Immediately regretted not ordering two as soon as I had my first bite. Everything else was good and I would go again but I wouldn’t say it’s as memorable. The housemade chili sauce was very good and paired well with each dish. Spicy tofu was good too, reminds me of Taiwanese stinky tofu but with no stink (sad). I would literally come back just for the noodles.

Woon is one of my favorite go-to spots for comforting, delicious food with an amazing vibe! It’s super kid-friendly. My little ones love the noodles, fried rice, and chicken wings. Don’t be fooled by how the portions look, the noodle and fried rice servings are generous and satisfying!
There’s plenty of parking, including the big lot across the street that’s open for Woon customers, which makes it super convenient.

They recently started brunch on the weekends, and I’ve been multiple times already. The milk tea French toast is heavenly, the rice porridge is so soothing, and the pork chop sandwich on a homemade pineapple bao bun is to die for. Don’t miss the bacon and egg fried rice either!
Even if you’re just grabbing a coffee and pastry, it’s worth the visit. They offer beautifully curated pastries. The matcha cookie is a standout and the drink menu is top-notch. The Hong Kong coffee (a coffee-tea hybrid) is unexpectedly delicious.

What makes it even more special is that it’s family-owned, with recipes inspired by Mama Fong’s home cooking. You can really feel the heart and soul in every dish. Go support this gem you’ll leave full and happy, every time!

Hip Taiwanese restaurants will get all my supports! Yes we need more fun fusion twists on Taiwanese cuisines and this place has it all!! From decor to merchandise, dish/ drinks to to-go sauce, the owners have really put lots of thoughts into the place. And the possibilities of this place is endless! Not to mention the outdoor seating is TRUELY Taiwanese night market scene I took my American friends here to try more Taiwanese food and we ended up ordered the 2nd time there with the Taiwanese beer.

May I say, expend the drinks to Kavalan whisky and Taiwanese inspired cocktails (and mocktails) for the drink connoisseurs? Just my 5-cents!

Please bring your friends and go check out this place!

To say woon is delicious is an understatement, they are absolutely delectable. Although there can be a line, it is well worth the wait. The beef noodles are incredible and mouth watering. The pork belly is succulent. The scallion pancakes are flaky. Everything here is delicious and very filling, so order wisely. The ice cream bao is a must and you cannot leave without it, simply too unique to describe with words. The counter service can slow the line down a bit, but the staff keep a nice pace of turning over tables. The stool seats may not be for everyone, but this truly gives the feel of an asian kitchen experience. I cant recommend this enough for a delicious and satiating meal, please dont come here so I can be first in line! All jokes aside, Woon is a winner
