Very quiet home like restaurant. Feels very comforting. Food wise no words really. I’ve had the 1 meat plate and 3 meat plate. Brisket is one of my favorites in the two times I’ve came. Baked beans were very good, peach cobbler was astounding, baked potato was really good as well. All in all I really love the food here and it feels like it was made with love. Especially the peach cobbler. Definitely recommend this place!

Driving thru TX en route from NYC to NM. Stopped by after a long 8hr drive from TN. The ribs are bar-none. The rub they use tickles every single sense from first bite to last swallow. That spud with all the fixins was unlike any I ever had before. All the sides are insane, we loved the green beans and cowboy beans the most. Last but not the least, that vinegar BBQ sauce cuts thru every single hint of savory for the perfect balance in every bite.

Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. Perfectly smoked brisket and the sausage was amazing. I ordered the Big Tex, two meats on Texas Toast. Y’all… It’s worth the stop and then some. My buddy had the two meat plate, same meats and he agreed it was all spectacular. It’s a homey atmosphere, a little bit old diner, a little bit your uncle Steve who lives in the country. Lots of animal heads on the wall, but if you’re stopping here you’re not a vegan anyways. We also had banana pudding that tastes like your aunt Linda made it this morning. Oh and the tea was great too, brewed strong enough to know it’s tea and sweet enough for a Texan adult.

Was a great meal after a long night of driving. Nice that they have parking for full Semi Trucks even though I bobtailed over. Brisket was great and the sausage was also. Plus definitely a good value for the price. Thanks!
