Pizza here was phenomenal. Service at the register from Isla was quick and excellent! I ordered a personal size sausage and meatball pizza lightly baked and they delivered on every account. House made meatballs were tender yet full of flavor!!

Amazing pizza, perfect char.
I’d recommend this to everybody in Hamden.
It is very expensive so do be mindful!
I spent around 75 for 3 large, which most people would say is crazy, I’d agree. But damn is it worth it.
It’s cash only so either come prepared or use the ATM inside.
I hope the prices drop a bit some day so I can come more often!

Great newhaven thin charred pizza, its probably the 3rd or 4th best in the area. Skip the line at pepes, or Sally’s and come here!

We did an eggplant, clam/garlic and a plain mootz. All very solid.
Warmed up some this morning. Still very tasty. I’ll give it an 8.1.

My husband picked up food from here. 1 was supposed to be a calzone and the other was supposed to be a pizza. Both were pizzas….if you can call them that. There were toppings missing in areas so it was just dough with some sauce. When you picked up a slice, all the toppings just slid off the slice. There was no flavor. This is probably the worst pizza I have ever had and we have had good pizza from here before. We basically just had some dough with toppings on the side. For the price of these pizzas, you’d think they would be better quality.

The staff was courteous, pizza was good for the money. Its a small place maybe 15 people tops, and they dont accept credit/debit card or digital payments, had to use the atm

Sadly after decades of going to Olde World they have unfortunately hit rock bottom. The Italian combo was literally saturated in a pool of liquid from the “wet” veggies. Even an amateur pizza maker knows to get a crisp thin crust using proper ingredients. The pizza when slid off the pizza peel into the box all the toppings slid to one side and the other side was soggy dough sitting in liquid. What’s most upsetting is to think that this catastrophe inside a box would actually be given to a customer.. I have been one of those 5 star customers for many years and happy to do so. It appears time has come for the realization that you no longer care about every customer and lack even the slightest bit of pride in the food you are serving to families and your reputation.

Drove from NYC for their pizza after watching the OneBite video. Glad I made the drive as the pizza was delicious! Very charred, not oily or greasy, delicious blend of cheese & thin- exactly what you’d expect from CT pizza. It reminded me a little of Modern. I know a worker there used to work at Modern so maybe he’s got the secret touch . We got two pies & both were perfect. I give Olde World an 8.4

Stopped by after work one evening knowing this spot is a neighborhood fav. I was blown away.
The pie reminded me of my favorite North Haven spot, Inferno Apizza.
Olde world has a custom-built coal oven in which they bake pies.
The dough is light, airy, with a beautiful crumb. The slice is balanced in terms of ratios.
Highly recommend for take out, not much in the way of dine-in.
