Visited this spot 2-3 times, and each experience has been fantastic. First time, the mango crepe cake slice and cookie cream crepe were both amazing—perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and surprisingly good prices that make it worth every penny.
Second visit, the taro milk tea stole the show: delicious, tasteful, and not overly sweet. The staff stands out as incredibly friendly, always welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend for dessert lovers—can’t wait to go back!

Waiting time: No wait at lunch, order ready in under 5 minutes.

Food:
Tried the Chicken Banh Mi ($9.99 before tax). Generous portion. The baguette was dense with a crisp outer shell and slightly chewy inside—good, though I prefer a lighter, airier crunch. The chicken was savory and well-seasoned, paired with fresh cilantro, pickled daikon, carrots, and onions. A bit more spread inside would have elevated the balance, but overall the flavors were fresh and satisfying.

Service:
Friendly staff and very quick service during lunch.

Value:
Reasonable for the size and quality at $9.99.

Overall:
Solid first visit. Tasty and filling. Will return to try other varieties, especially if they refine the bread texture.

A cute and small food and drinks cafe. If you leave a review, you get a free drink!! The shrimp spring rolls were pretty massive and always a good and healthy snack! The taro milk tea boba was okay (a nice refresher but nothing special). The boba itself was pretty chewy and soft which I loved.

The chicken bahn mi was slightly dry. It wasn’t the best bahn mi I’ve had.

I’ve gotten their sandwiches several times. The baguette is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ingredients are always fresh. I tend to find the sauce a bit off-putting for my taste, likely because it contains fish or oyster sauce, so I usually ask them to dial it down by half. The staff is friendly, and the price is reasonable. But above all, you must try their mangonada. It was such a random beverage on the menu, yet it exceeded my expectations. Mangonada is an unforgettable bomb of tangy, sweet, spicy, and slightly salty flavors.

Great bahn mi with nice bread – I got the spicy lemongrass tofu and highly recommend it. Lots of pickles and fresh cilantro and you see the staff making your sandwich when you order.

Banh mi was amazing and the rice dishes was amazing. This place is equal or better to bahn mi spot in dorchester. I highly recommend this restaurant for both the sandwhiches and the rice dishes. Cant wait to order from here again. The ladies that work there are awesome as well. This is definetly bostons new best veitnamese spot. Its also located in a very good area with ample parking and those who dont want to go into Boston

This place is so cute! And the people working are always friendly. One girl even explained everything to us. The pork belly Banh mi is delicious and refreshing. The lychee refresher is my favorite drink!

My husband and I love coming to banh mi cafe, it’s one of our neighborhood go-to’s. It’s especially great to pick up a banh mi for a little picnic across the street, or by the library, which is advised bc they only have three counter seats.

Everyone here at banh mi cafe is efficient and welcoming, so service is quick. You can easily order at the kiosk if you’re feeling antisocial, the the staff are open to answering questions too. I usually go with the standard deli meat sandwich which is phenomenal. I tried their bbq pork and their lemongrass tofu last night. Both were super tasty, but I’m always nostalgic for a traditional banh mi personally. However, the lemongrass tofu was honestly a sleeper hit. It’s really flavorful and has such a nice contrasting texture against their French bread. Highly recommend it here! Their fresh rolls are also fantastic—extremely crisp, I think they add chive in it? It’s great, whatever it is lol. I will say, in the dozens of times I’ve been, they have only sold out of bread once after 6/6:30pm, but when I tell you I was absolutely devastated…so get there early if you can!

My daughter and I devoured delicious banh mi sandwiches (pork), egg rolls, and shared a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Everything was made quickly, ingredients fresh and tasty.

The person at the counter was welcoming, kind, and answered my banh mi newbie questions a most helpful manner.

While this place is tiny, the flavors ate big, bright, satisfying. If we lived nearby, I’m sure we’d be here regularly.

What an excellent find!!
