Sammy’s Pizza in Manteno started in 1953. Very good, super thin pizza. Usually I like a little meat on the bone crust, not paper thin. But it works.

Very good food, when we came here we first thought it was full but then got seats. Had a good time eating and talking to each other, it is a bit loud but is equal to Buffalo Wild Wings. Definitely will come again and had a variety of food. The atmosphere is good and there is somthing to watch for everyone! Food came kinda slow but felt faster since we were entertained and talking. 4/5 stars. Will come again

We stopped here on a Saturday evening shortly after opening so it wasn’t too busy. I ordered an avocado chicken sandwich and he ordered the sausage pizza. We had the onion rings as an appetizer. All in all, I thought the rings and the chicken on my sandwich were a tad overcooked, but regardless, everything we had was so tasty!! He really enjoyed his pizza and raved about how much he liked the crust and whatever the sausage that was used. We brought the remainder pizza home to my kid who also seemed to enjoy it as well. Other than the crispy chicken being dry, the sandwich was pretty good. The chipotle mayo had a nice kick to it and the onion rings on the sandwich were much more to my liking than that of the appetizer rings. We still had a good experience and plan to return sometime in the future.

Placed my order at 5:00pm
Food was delivered at 6:23pm
We were told the order would be to us within the hour. We finally received the order 1 hour and 23 minutes later.
Our order was:
1- 14 inch cheese pizza
1- fried mushroom appetizer
1- 2 liter of Pepsi

Wouldn’t recommend unless you’ve been drinking or having a middle school birthday party
Pros –
1. Sauce and Cheese were tasty
Cons –
1. Barely any cheese
2. Had to reheat in airfryer for 8 min
3. Prior to reheating crust was extremely tough (my dog had trouble chewing it )

Pros –
1. Came with Ranch (which was warmer than both pizza and mushrooms. Don’t know how that was possible??)
2. Large portion size
3. Mushroom to batter ratio was good
4. [Prior to reheating] – Tasted good 3/10
[After reheated] – Same taste but hot 4/10
Cons –
1. Cold, needed to be reheated
2. VERY soggy (they were not cooked long enough for the batter to comeplete cooking)
3. We needed to finish cooking it for an additional 10 min.

Stopped in with a friend for pizza/wings and a couple drinks. This place had the best Bloody Mary Ive had in awhile, the pizza was amazeballs and the service (we sat at the bar) was top notch.
10/10 would drive 45 minutes for this place.

Ordered take out while visiting from Wisconsin. We always look forward to Chicago food. 2 “Italian Beef Sandwiches” and some fried appetizers. I’ve never had Italian Beef Sandwiches on what was basically a hot dog bun. Hot dog buns may have had more girth than whatever this hot mess of white bread this is. It wasn’t even toasted. The au jus was so salty it was inedible and the appetizers were fried so long they were burnt. $50 down the drain. I fed the meat to my dog and the rest went in the garbage. Wisconsin makes better Italian Beef sandwiches than this joint and that’s not saying much.

The pizza crust is very tasty nice and Flaky and crispy. We also had a grilled chicken salad and that was very tasty as well. Very nice outdoor patio seating in the back with a nice park behind to enjoy.
