Never ever go to this place. Staff of young females were very rude and condescending. I ordered an unsweet tea to go. To which they sold me. Only to find out they do not make unsweet tea. I placed $2 on the counter yo pay.The cashier said nothing, only pointed to hand made sign on plexiglass. Im going on a campaign to see that everyone i come into contact with via in person or social media knows not to spend money at this establishment or any American Deli! I greeted to the cashier bc she didn’t greet me. After speaking to her, spoke with an attitude. You all need to do better on customer service. Everybody isn’t hood. Why is the cashier wearing a bonnet to work. That’s so unprofessional. The food was good. Thanks to the cooks!

Called an order in and once I arrived, waited 20 minutes in an empty restaurant before requesting a refund. The cashier states just on minute it will be ready , turned her back and talked on the phone. After waiting another 3 still no food, cashier still has her back turned on the phone. I had to leave my lunch was over.

I went to American Deli on Eastern Blvd at 8pm. They show you your wings, but what they do is put a few fresher ones on the top and drench all the wings in sauce to disguise the dry, rubbery reheated wings that you are getting. This is the third time this has happened. The skin on the chicken was like rubber and pulled. They were not fresh at all. Some had a brown hue on the inside. They even tasted old. I haven’t had this issue in the past when going between 1pm and 4pm. I couldn’t even eat the wings when i got home. I had to throw them away. What should have been a red flag is what happened a few months ago. An employee quit while I was at the register after the supervisor on the phone was telling her to tell a customer the wings were fresh and they were not. The employee told him she could not lie and tell the customer that because he went around to the corner to see for himself if they were fixed fresh. He saw that it wasn’t and wanted his money back, even though they are supposed to have a no refund policy. They tried to give him old wings. I will be taking my business to another location. If you go here, try out your wings before you leave. My fries were the only thing edible. Over $20 gone down the drain.

Now that I’m finally back at home I can write my review. I had some wings/fries delivered two days ago. At the time of eating them I was fine. A hour later, I was vomiting continuously, all night I had to go to the ER and spend the night for food poisoning… I will absolutely never come here again.

The restaurant was very dimly lit, the counters and floor had dripped soda everywhere and had not been wiped up in so long it started to dry. There was no air conditioning on.
Staff:
The person behind the register was actually sitting at a table on her cell phone until I walked in. After she took my order she was on her cell phone the entire time.
Food:
Order was remade to be correct. Wings were the smallest I have ever had (flats smaller than my little finger) and dried out. The sauce (teriyaki) tasted like it had been burnt or cooked down too long.
This used to be my favorite American Deli….I won’t be wasting my money there again

I called my order in so that it wouldn’t take all day and explained to the man who took my order that I did not want to wait a long time but he assured me that it would not take more than 10 minutes. THIS WAS A BOLD FACE LIE!!! After I paid, I stood in this place for over 30 minutes waiting on my food and watched everyone who came after me get their food first! I spoke up multiple times about my situation but everyone just continued as if they did not hear me and the manager was laughing as if it was funny. It is definitely safe to say that I will never be supporting this business again!!!
