The restroom was dirty and there wasn’t even toilet paper. If you’re just opening for the day, at least the basics like cleaning and restocking should be taken care of.
The food was even more disappointing. The quality of the meat was pretty low and everything just tasted oddly bland. The desserts were not good at all. Also, the portions that came out looked nothing like the photos on the tablet menu.
There weren’t even knives on the table. If I order a steak, I expect to be able to cut it properly — am I supposed to wrap it up and eat it like that?
Service-wise, our server could have been a bit more friendly. We said thank you every time we asked for something, but didn’t even get a simple “you’re welcome” back. Small things like that matter.
For two people, with the automatic 20% tip included, we paid close to $100. Honestly, for that price, the quality and service just weren’t there. You can go somewhere else, spend a few dollars more, and get much better meat and much better service. (Maybe MOSU)
I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve.
I am going to struggle getting into my car and I’ve never been happier.
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and full of amazing aromas that instantly made my mouth water. The staff were super friendly and attentive — they made sure everything was perfectly cooked and that we had everything we needed.
The quality of the meat was top-tier — melt-in-your-mouth tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite felt like a little party for my taste buds. The sides were fresh, the sauces were on point, and the atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming.
If you’re looking for a spot to laugh, eat, and leave totally satisfied, this is the place. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
I would like to add that the server, knowing it was my girl’s birthday dinner, did bring them a fried ice cream dessert and didn’t charge us for that. Again, fine young man. He did a good job overall. He even asked us if we wanted us for them to sing happy birthday…. Which can be embarrassing…. It’s not for everyone… This is literally the first time I’ve been offered this option in my 47 years… And I appreciated that. We declined. We’ll be back, but they need to fix the gratuity thing. Big turn off.
***Edit*** I want to acknowledge that I personally know the owner, Bri, however I didn’t realize that this was her restaurant and that I haven’t seen her in a few years. My family and I are regulars at Yang’s Asian Bistro, one of her other establishments. She won us over, over a decade ago (she have our now 13 yr old a Valentine’s Day balloon from her decorations that my then toddler wanted… It was a sweet gesture that she didn’t hang to do…. That and the food has been great and consistent). With that said, knowing that she is the owner, I’m confident that she’ll take my criticisms seriously and do her best to correct the issues that I brought up. My review still stands, but I will gladly change it, if warranted, on my next visit.
Meat quality is good enough. A good amount of side options, and the sauce bar is nice too. The side quality, like the meat, is good enough. The lettuce is not the correct type of lettuce, though, so you can’t actually make a lettuce wrap.
You get your own drinks, make your own sauce, order any sides or meats on a tablet. Atmosphere is nice, and the service when needed is good. Pretty enjoyable!
They don’t take small reservations (sub 14), so that can suck.
