I grew up here and moved back almost 3 years ago. Never tried punkys in the old school. So it was nice to have a taste of tradition here for the first time! Loved Punky’s Pepperoni, Bacon, Hot Honey Pizza! Covered the savory and sweet notes, crust was very good as well.
We also ordered a buffalo chicken traco, that was good as ever. The chicken was made freesh and complemented punkys traditional taco shell.

Everything I have ever gotten there has been amazing from the stuffed pepper soup to the stuffed cabbage soup and the corn chowder they allowed us to sample while waiting for our order. They are so friendly. The only critique I would have is the wait time, but seriously your killing it. Keep up the great work and thanks for serving such awesome food right down the street!

We had the best pizza tonight! We ordered pepperoni and onion and added a drizzle of hot honey. It was just the right amount of sweet and heat. Soft crust, plenty of sauce. It’s something we’d order again.

Love punky’s shells and happy they are back. 1 taco will definitely fill you up. Probably weighs at least 1 pound. The salsa was excellent! Staff was friendly and ordering was easy. 20-25 minute wait for food.

In today’s world mediocrity and corporate chains are the norm… which makes Punky’s a real gem amongst the boring, nameless grey faces that make up the takeout food industry. This place is outstanding and we are lucky to have it in the Westmont area. With food and service this excellent, it feels good to be able to support this local business. Highly recommend the chicken and buffalo chicken salads. Five stars all around!

Very good pizza squares! We had a Buffalo Chicken taco (not even in the menu)… we then added the taco beef to it! Lol.. it was great! That called it the Chadinator (apparently a guy name Chad “invented” it.. lol, what a fun place! (See photo). That thing was a Whopper!
Anyway.. we’ll definitely be back. Met the owner.. super nice guy. Great story. Great local business!

This is my favorite spot for pizza or tacos!!! The 5.99 lunch special is awesome! It comes with three slices and a salad or nachos, can’t get better than that And the buffalo chicken taco is the best thing ever invented highly recommend!!!

Everything that I’ve had from here has been excellent. The pizza, the tacos, the gyros, the soups. I mean it all stands above. There are few places in Johnstown that I would tell out of towners are a “must try”. This is one of those “must try” places. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend it enough.

This place is a hidden gem! I thought the tacos were gone forever when Punky’s closed last year in August of 2024. Thank god they are back!!!

This place is legend within the taco community. They aren’t your typical tacos, but oversized school lunch-style soft tacos with a plethora of toppings. Just the right amount of grease and veggies to settle any hunger.
