I must have ordered beef jerky or dehydrated lamb chips. Completely inedible. I’m astonished that this lounge has been recommended to me several times. My dogs wouldn’t even eat it. Im concerned for this kitchen and worry about food safety standards.

Undercooked Salmon has a lot of parasites and it can kill a person. I find it very disrespectful for Baba’s Kitchen to attempt to kill me.

Always a great experience here. Ive Djed at this location twice and have had a good experience both times. The staff is welcoming, the atmosphere is right, and the crowd’s energy makes the night flow naturally. The owner does a great job maintaining the vibe and professionalism of the space. A reliable spot for a good night out or a well-executed event.

Please believe all of the bad reviews, this place is NOT worth the hype. Came for a birthday celebration where we had a section that a deposit was put down for ahead of time, but our whole party wasn’t able to come in as they were “over capacity”. That was cap considering it kept getting more and more packed every 30 minutes. Most of the people that were allowed in were just in the standing areas, it was shoulder to shoulder and overcrowded. No point of having to pay for a section if you’re just going to pick and choose who you allow to come in. We also weren’t allowed to leave and come back, as they said if we leave it’s no reentry, even after we told them we have a section where people were still in, it’s not like we’re just going to be standing around; they didn’t care. Terrible attitudes from security. I rested my eyes for a little minute because we were out all night and I am a tired and working mom, so yes I will take a little nap when I get a chance, I never cared; one of the security guards came up to me and told me I need to get up or he was going to put me outside! Mind you again, I’m sitting in the section, that we PAID for, not bothering anybody and wasn’t laying down or anything, just had my head laying on my hand and eyes closed for a bit. What if I had a medical condition? To threaten to put me outside when I’m not bothering anybody is crazy work! When it is time to leave, security will frisk you down if they think you are trying to take a bottle, etc. Just over all bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE to come here. Bad business, and I don’t foresee them being open very long. Be careful how you treat people.

I’m writing this review to share a very disappointing experience my friends and I had at Baba’s Kitchen on 1/3/25 . There were seven of us in total, and we came out specifically to enjoy the nightlife scene. We purchased a section for the night and spent roughly $700, expecting a certain level of service and professionalism that should come with that kind of spend.

For most of the evening, things were fine. However, at the end of the night, the experience took a sharp turn for the worse. One of my friends accidentally left his license behind. We were aware of exactly where it was left, and we simply went back to retrieve it. What should have been a quick and straightforward situation became unnecessarily hostile.

Instead of being helpful or professional, the security guards gave us a very hard time. They were dismissive, aggressive, and escalated the situation immediately. At one point, we were threatened with physical violence, which is completely unacceptable under any circumstances especially over something as minor as retrieving a lost ID that we knew the location of.

This was particularly frustrating given that we had been respectful, cooperative, and high-paying customers throughout the night. Spending hundreds of dollars for a section should come with at least basic courtesy and a sense of customer care. No customer paying or otherwise should ever feel intimidated or threatened by staff, especially security.

I believe that good paying customers deserve better treatment, and even more importantly, all customers deserve to feel safe. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. This experience left a very bad impression and overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable night.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously, reviews how security handles situations like this, and ensures that future guests are treated with respect rather than hostility. As it stands, this experience makes it very hard to recommend Baba’s Kitchen to others

If I could give this place 0 stars I would , they’re greedy and unprofessional.

Firstly, I paid my $50 deposit for a section for my birthday and the person I went through told me it was booked , I was good and that the bottles were gonna be $75 per bottle and there’s a 3 bottle minimum

We all get there , there’s a long line , we had to wait an hour and a half to get in and they weren’t trying to let us in because we don’t have wrist bands(the person I booked through never told me this)security wasn’t very nice ,when we were asking people what’s going on it’s like no one knew what was going on , when you get in there , everyone is shoulder to shoulder.

Furthermore, we go in and there’s a whole party of people in our section , they sold our section to someone else and then they say the bottles are $150 each which is not what the guy I booked through had said , now I’m trying to get my refund from the guy and he’s not responding at all because I had to leave,I paid a $50 deposit for absolutely nothing , they kept saying they would get someone to help but we had to keep waiting and they expected us to share our section and tried to say that’s how the section come when that’s not true at all

I will never come here again.

It was such a treat to stumble on this place for lunch. Our entire meal was a special experience with incredible service, flavors, and ambience.

We were able to try a variety of special sauces, followed by falafel, salad, and the shrimp kebab plate. Each dish was delicious and well served.

Onur was so friendly throughout our lunch and brought us Turkish coffee to finish up our meal. We will definitely be returning!!

Thanks for the great experience and delicious food!

Baba means “dad” in Turkish, and this place will definitely make you feel like you are with family. We tried five of the appetizers and they were all delicious…our favorite was the Ezme. The Yayla Soup was also a standout. The Baklava and Turkish Coffee were also delicious. Everything we had was yummy, but most of all we felt very welcomed, well fed, and well taken care of.

The service is terrible and bunch of ppl that think they can treat ppl any kind of way. They stole my money with false advertising. I paid extra 12 _ to add salmon and they never sent it. When I called the girl gone say call back tomorrow as if that’s wasn’t my dinner for the night. And hang up in my face. Then when I call back they say they can’t do nothing and just take my money. It be ya own ppl doing terrible service treating ppl like they beneath them and taking the ppl money. I don’t expect them to be in business long

Don’t let the outside fool you, this place is on point! I ordered the ezme, yayla soup, choban salad, and the gyro plate. If you like spicy food, the ezme is for you. The appetizer packs a ton of flavor and has the right amount of heat to get your tongue tingling. The choban salad was good with the vinaigrette and was refreshing. The gyro plate was excellent! The meat was super tender and flavorful, it had me thinking I should have ordered more food! The staff is super friendly, and although I ordered takeout, they called when the food was ready for pickup and when I hadn’t shown up yet to pick up the food. I truly appreciate this as a customer and it means I will loyally be a repeat customer!
