The location is amazing; tucked away on the water but still close to ‘town’. I must admit, I was a little disappointed in the food. The menu has some very intriguing selections and made me want to try several things. Overall, though, I found what I ordered to be lacking in flavor – except the Rock Bites and they were pretty fishy tasting. The Chicken Roti soup definitely needed more curry, and the Cuban Reuben, although enjoyable, was lacking a little extra on seasonings. The Key Lime Crush was a very refreshing adult beverage, but it’s topped with whipped cream (not a fan). The waitress was top-notch and the scenery/atmosphere outside is A+ for waterfront dining. Not sure if I’d go again, but glad I went, just the same.

It’s a great place for families.
This place is a true gem. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely amazing. Everyone here is so kind and friendly.
A special thank you to Shane! He’s the first American to pronounce my Turkish name perfectly. 🙂 It’s the little details and genuine kindness that make all the difference.
We’ll definitely be back. I highly recommend it!

Chef April runs the kitchen and the fabulous menu prep. Carrie is out on the floor, dishing up the amazing food as the fun and personable wait staff. The Atmosphere couldn’t be more conducive to enjoying a great meal on the Water and Off the Beaten Path! Literally the BEST local food in Solomons!

Very happy to visit Hidden Harbor for breakfast.
The staff was very nice, and friendly.
The server checked with us if we need anything else and everything was ok every few minutes.
Eating is sitting outside which was great to enjoy the weather, atmosphere, and the beautiful environment around the area.

The food was great but a bit slower than expected. This is a small place down by the water and everyone was bet nice. We sat on the deck and watched the boats. Really good breakfast and made fresh to order.

I love supporting local businesses even when out of town. This is definitely a hidden gem. I had great service from Loretta, the home made chips were to perfection, and new to their menu is the ‘Island Fish Sandwich’, very much worth the drive if you like fish (not fishy tasting at all). Any meal on the water is good, yet even with clouds, this was a great visit. Limited seating inside & out, plan ahead.

Nice little spot on the water overlooking the marina! It’s off the beaten path! Worth a try. Friendly staff and good clean area! Not a very large selection to choose from on the menu but a good verities! My group had mixed emotions about the food being first time here! I would like to give them another visit next time in the area, to see if it is any different!

Ok, that is the way to make and serve a crab cake , as a light sandwich. I’m glad I listened to our waitress Debbie, it was $32 very well spent. This place puts the Lighthouse to shame. Best crab cake ever.

Forget all the other Solomons joints with their identical menus, ridiculously-priced / iffy-quality crab cakes, and super expensive cocktails. The best restaurant is Hidden Harbor, both for its singular waterfront ambience and the unique items on the menu. I’ve tried just about everything and everything is delicious. (A couple items aren’t “perfect” but that’s to be expected.) There’s a mega-loaded stuffed and fried hot dog that just has to be experienced, and what sounds like a bizarre cheeseburger topped with pineapple and SPAM and bacon and fried onion is legitimately one of the most delicious things ever. (Pic #2.) Most frequently I get a Frankenstein mash-up of my two favorite sandwiches, the Cuban Reuben (Pic #1). My only complaint: IT’S NOT BIG ENOUGH AND I COULD EASILY EAT TWO OF THEM!! As for their pizzas, I’m picky, and they’re easily the best pizzas in southern Calvert. No contest.

Caveat: They may be unexpectedly closed when you drive down there, or be sold out of the things you’re dying to eat. Kinda frustrating. I should dock a star for that … but I won’t!

Been here twice, once for brunch and once for lunch and both meals were excellent. Would highly recommend. Well worth the wait for your food as the place seems pretty consistently busy. One thing to note is there is only outdoor seating.
