The biltong rivals that of any place back home in Sunny South Africa they got those quintessential spices with the cracked coriander. I like mine thin wet and fatty and they will oblige on your request .Tge droewsors is just killer its perfect .Now there pies are on another level I been around the world and have not found a better pie and including the UK aswell .Its got a fluffy crispy scrumptious crust you can taste the butter in it .The fillings are out of this world I am a curry snob and all there curry fillings like lamb,chicken or beef are tge best ingredients. The owner just a down to earth guy likes racing his cars and feeding people just all round good guy .

We originally stopped by Meal in a Pie for frozen Boerewors but couldn’t resist trying their fresh pies—and we’re so glad we did! We grabbed a lamb curry, shepherd’s pie, and beef sausage roll. The pie crust was honestly the best I’ve ever had: buttery, flaky, and perfectly baked. The fillings were plentiful, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients.
The chicken curry pie was especially delicious—the seasoning was spot on, warm, and comforting. Both the shepherd’s pie and beef sausage roll had rich, high-quality beef that tasted homemade and fresh. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor.
On top of the great food, the gentleman who assisted us was kind and welcoming. Overall, this is a hidden gem worth visiting. Highly recommend—5 stars!

Got some frozen pies for holiday gifts and grabbed a lamb curry pie for myself.
Oh. My. Goodness.
Buttery flaky crust beyond good and the curry was very delicious. And fast – it’s right there waiting under the hot lamps – even by the time I got it home it was still quite hot.
This has to go into rotation for sure

Been eyeing this place for a while, as I’ve never been to a South African focused shop nor have I had the meal in a pie cuisine.
The shop keeper was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
I got the Shepherds Pie and Beefsteak Pie. I also picked up some sausage roll jerky and oat biscuit crackers/cookies?
Both pies were amazing. The pastry was solid and tasted so good!!!! Meats were delicious and had a terrific texture and flavors.
The jerky was interesting. It had a good outer texture but the inside was almost creamy. Mind u this is sausage jerky, not mainstream American style. But it tasted good.
The biscuit/cookie/crackers thing came in a box and is so addicting. I couldn’t put them down.
Place is a small market. Cool South African cuisine, delicious meat pies. Very easy to find and get to. Plenty of parking out front and in back.

If you’re thinking about trying this spot out, run don’t walk. The pies here are out of this world. They’re beautifully flaky, filled to the max, very flavorful, and they’re huge (one whole pie can be a lunch portion). The man at the counter was so friendly and made us feel completely at home. I bought some frozen pies to eat at home as well. I can’t wait to come back!!

Wow they know how to make a good meat pie! I had the lamb pasty – very delicious on every level. They have lots packed in a relatively small shop, I wish I could try it all! A few South African drinks to choose from in the fridge as well. I’ll be back to try the other pies and sausage roll!

We live in Deltona Florida and we drive 3 hours to go to this place. My wife is from Cape town SA. Its the closest place for her to get authentic SA food. The meet pies are the BEST that I’ve tried and I’m Puerto Rican. We always take frozen ones home and the Biltong is the BEST, fresh all of the time.There’s no other place around like this one. A MUST go visit. A++++++
