The store is perfectly fine when it comes to drinks, food and service, but it’s full of very uncomfortable wooden chairs with poor backs. They need to replace them with more comfortable chairs. Other Starbucks in
the area have better chairs.

I used to visit this Starbucks regularly. Since I was in the area, I decided to stop by and grab a hot latte. The latte was good—a smooth, warm coffee drink made with strong espresso and steamed milk, which was perfect for today’s weather. The service was okay, but my table was sticky and had some cookie crumbs, which I had to wipe off myself.

Placed a drink order for the reusable red cup giveaway for a holiday drink but wasn’t given my cup. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and the kid said my cup didn’t qualify. I called the store and a girl said it’s the peppermint mocha. I checked the app and the regular white mocha is listed as a qualifying drink. I will never go back to this location again!

This is literally the worst location in northern Virginia. Keep in mind, they can pay to have negative google reviews removed. They can’t do that for Yelp. Check out the Yelp page for this area. 9/10 times my drink is not correct. They also don’t fill it all the way. I order brown sugar shaken espresso with cold foam and caramel crunch topping. They gave me 9/10 times a brown sugar latte with cold foam and no topping. Because I order the cold foam I guess they assume I won’t be able to tell if the espresso is shaken so they just add in regular espresso. Avid coffee drinkers can tell that shaken espresso is frothy. I started off my phone call with the manager by asking if they had the crunch topping in stock. She said they did. So obviously the workers just chose not to add it. Corporate is already aware. I will be calling and complaining again today but their district manager needs to be aware of this. If you’re going to offer shaken espresso, add the shaken espresso. Just make the drink correctly. I haven’t been in this location for awhile and surprisingly it’s dirty. Stains on the wall of the counter that look like they have been there awhile. The glass in the display needs ant and the overall store is dirty! However, the staff is amazingly very friendly and customer focused.

So, I usually just get orders for pickup here, and they’ve always been quick and correct, never an issue there.
But, shoutout to whoever was working there today. There was a handwritten note saying ‘everything whale be okay’ and a drawing of a smiling whale. I’m sure that this was probably one of many small messages that you write on cups, but it really makes a huge positive difference, especially on mornings where you get a call a few hours earlier that you have a close relative in the hospital.
So, thank you for turning a rough morning into a positive one. Small hospitality like that goes a long way. To the entire morning crew on 1/29/23, you guys deserve nothing but good vibes.

I was eating there and I saw a discrimination service for another latin person who asked to use the bathroom. The cashier said that her policies had changed recently, and he can not use the bathroom. The store was empty, the man looked nice and respectful, and she doesn’t provide the service in this nice community.
