Visited for the first time.
I have been put off by the exterior for years, but a friend suggested going, saying that the food had always been great… and as soon I’d walked through the door, I was so pleased I had.
It’s lovely inside. Service with a smile. Can’t do enough for you. Go in… it’s worth it.
Everything is superb. Service, food, decor, everything.
Go… you’ll love it.
Highly recommended. I won’t be going anywhere else now… and given my last experience in the Pasha… this the best curry house (kind of) in St Johns.

Having moved to the area thought we’d try this restaurant…omg so happy we did!!!
From start to finish it was an amazing evening…the waiter and waitress was so friendly and attentive, couldn’t do enough.
The food was absolutely delicious full of lovely flavours very mouthwatering. And I had a started of chilli prawns and the flavour was unbelievable probably the best prawns I’ve eaten!!!
We will definitely be returning.

6 Malvern Round Table members dropped in circa 2100hrs. While there were several large tables in, they were more than happy to accommodate us. Great service and the food was fantastic.

I wasn’t expecting much for my first time at Cromwells after reading some of the reviews but there were 10 of us eating there last night and everyone had a great experience with both service & food. The Manchurian chicken starter was spicy and delicious followed by the Royal Tawa sizzling chicken which was excellent We’l definitely be back

We had a balti and it was terrible. This was nothing like any balti anywhere. The papadomes were crushed and when I called all they said was we can send more out. This is our first and last time of ordering

Can’t recommend highly enough. Staff attentive & polite. Restaurant inside was traditional and cosy. The menu catered for all choices and I must say that we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Probably one of the best and tastiest Indian/Nepalese restaurants we have been to and will definitely frequent more often as new to the area and pleased we have found this local gem.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE – DO NOT ORDER TAKEAWAY FROM HERE!!!
Ordered takeaway through uber eats, sagg paneer had no paneer cheese but had tomatoes??!! Ordered cheese naann again no cheese! But it got worse when i got to my mains both mine & my husbands chicken dishes had no chicken!
Food tasted nothing like it should, and looked like something thrown through a blender or thrown up! I will not be ordering again! Avoid like the plague!! £50 spent on something I wouldn’t feed my dog.
Called the restaurant to request refund was fobbed off asked how long ago since my order told them 20-30 mins and surprise i was told we don’t give refund after 30 mins! Absolutely horrific service & the food, the worst take away I’ve ever had!!
Given generic email address to put in a complaint told manager had left. Staff member said didn’t care if I put bad review on Google so here it is, I hope it helps others decide where to spend their hard earned money.
