Went there for a quick brunch buffet before catching cab to airport. We were not even staying at this hotel, but it was close to our’s. It was $30 a person, which seemed reasonable because coffee and juice were included. Came to $33 and some change, gratuity not included. They do have a regular menu as well (I think). Wasn’t busy at all, but the low lighting made it seem like it was closed at first. We arrived there at 10:36am and it closed at 11am, but we were still able to get 2-3 plates each. We were also still able to sit in there, the buffet portion was just closed after that. Great place to nurse a hangover! They also had these cute little Tabasco bottles to take and fresh beignets to put in a to go bag.

Convenient restaurant inside the Marriott hotel.

They have regular menu items and also a breakfast buffet. You can order an omelette in the buffet area with your buffet items.

I didn’t catch her name, but the waitress was amazing, friendly, so much energy, it was a joy to be there.

My husband said the omelette was good. You’ll have to wait a few minutes for it, so he recommends not loading up your buffet plate while you’re waiting since the food will get cold.

It’s loud and open in here but the food is good. The service was very slow and didn’t check on us.

The beignets with ice cream were delicious, served warm! Burgers were all right.

Nice restaurant in the back of the Marriott. Friendly staff, nice digs and some great tasty menu options.

Chicken sandwich and Shrimp Po’boy were delicious.

The fish tacos were fresh and had the right amount of spice. The gumbo was tasty, but very thin with only a few bits of meat in it. The service was underwhelming. The greeter acted irritated that she had to get off her phone to seat us. Our server was ok, but very slow to get my husband his beer. It arrived at our table right after we got our food.

Get the burger, it was delicious. Hotel restaurant prices, but actually pretty good. Staff is very friendly and even with a large crowd on the weekend it still felt like I could grab somewhere to sit.

Their breakfast is amazing. So is their red beans and rice and beignets. They close at 2 but you can still order food from the bar/lobby area or in the pantry.

This restaurant/bar is in the lobby of the New Orleans Marriott on Canal St. It’s a really cool/classy atmosphere, but even with my price expectations adjusted for the French Quarter, the food is still too expensive for what you get here. The only reason I would eat here (unless they overhaul the menu) would be if it’s pouring rain and I’m staying at the hotel. Otherwise, there are too many good food places within a short walk of the Marriott.
