We got the Italian Pizza and garlic knots. The garlic knots were not too bad, but the pizza was horrendous. Their marinara was sweet, the mozzarella was disgusting, and the basil was sad. The crust is decidedly not New York style as advertised. And to top off the not great meal, they came outside to harass us for deciding last minute to eat here, because the cardboard pizza box is “expensive,” and “to save the earth.” But yet they were going to offer us paper plates. I’m sure it was about the earth saving.

My boyfriend and I came to Hawaii for vacation during the 1st week of July 2019 (they were definitely open, and on the holiday), and stopped by the waterfalls nearby Honomu, HI. After the falls we walked through the cute little town and happened upon Strato’s pizzeria, noting they offer gluten free pizza, and pizza by the slice. We walked inside and asked if they do GF pizza by the slice, and THEY DO!! They have a few “by the slice offers” so we ordered the #2 – 2 slices with 2 toppings, and a beverage (with an extra beverage). Extra toppings are $0.25 extra/topping. Cheapest $11 date ever! They did such a great gf pizza, which isn’t easy to find, not to mention how most places don’t do gf slices by themselves (must get a whole pie). LOVE! Definitely recommend this cute pizzeria.

I stopped by on my lunch break. Two well topped custom slices and an aloha drink for 6 dollars. Great pizza and a great price. Nice place to sit down and relax.

A great place to eat in Honomu. Really enjoyed this Greek style burger. The pizza was also really great with a New York style crust.

Average thin crust pizza, but the salad was pretty good. Nothing special but if you’re in the area and you’re hungry, stop by.
