This place should really have more reviews. I called on a late Friday afternoon. The person who answered the people first if is extremely personable. They were able to get me in at 8pm. We arrived for our reservation and were seated right away. Damion was our server and he’s was awesome and helpful. We started with the pigs in a blanket and mussels. Absolutely wonderful and fresh. My wife and I spilt the vodka rigatoni with a side of garlic bread, we added graces meatballs with it. Again I cannot describe how good the food was. Everything from the reservation phone call, to the drinks to the staff is top notch. My wife and I are in from Knoxville, TN for my birthday and this was a great experience. Thank you all.

Thought the food was excellent, the menu is pretty similar to other Crown Restaurant offerings (it’s not that much different then Rosie’s or Losanti — pastas with optional Meatball upgrade)

The atmosphere is kinda “corporate Maggianos” and doesn’t feel all that special. It’s strange that the kitchen is right next to dining where you can hear all the noise from the cooks, but can’t see them, so it’s just like having a loud next door neighbor.

Our server Nikki and our host were excellent, and we enjoyed the bourbon pours and the entrees very much. The artichoke was especially good. The beef tartar had too much mayo/relish and really didn’t taste like beef. Oysters were delicious. Loved the pastas.

Kinda hated at the end when the suggested tip was 30% for good service and not the standard 20%. Really put a damper on the experience and would make me reconsider returning.

Went for a Anniversary dinner to try it out. The reservation mentioned what we were celebrating. The host welcomed us with a congratulations, table had a nice card placed, and the waiter mentioned it as well. So they do make you feel welcomed for such things. The service from said waiter was on point. Knowledgeable and attentive. Before dinner cocktails, delicious! For the food. We had the fried green tomatoes to share. Glad we did because they were awesome! Entrees, we both ordered the Spicy rigatonni and added the meatballs. Best pasta dish I have had in a long time. Meatballs were perfect, sauce was amazing, and it had just enough heat to the spiciness. I cant recommend this place enough going by our experience.

Came after their rebranding and seriously loved our meal!!!! Service was pretty quick and friendly. We enjoyed every dish we ordered.

The mussels were so flavorful & the broth was addicting to dip w/ bread. They were able to split the salad in the back for us, too. For entrees, we got the rigatoni w/ added meatballs. So. Good! The pasta was cooked nice and again, loved their sauce. Steak was cooked and seasoning just how we like it. Would deff come back.

Great place to visit and I have been several times. I have not had a bad meal thus far . The menu has options from Caesar salad with chips on top to friend green tomatoes toooed with bacon to chicken truffle burgers . Reservations recommended. You can die inside or out and service is usually top-tier, service for us yesterday started out very strong and sort of slacked off. But they were busy. Great space for dinners and celebration.

Chuck was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. From Caesar salad, coconut shrimp, to pasta you WILL NOT be disappointed. It is now our benchmark of what a good meal is supposed to be.

Editing to say PLEASE bring back the coconut shrimp!!

My husband and I came here for dinner and drinks for date night a couple weeks ago and had a great time. We started off with the fried green tomatoes and steak tartare as appetizers, got a gnocchi stroganoff and French dip for our entrees, and finished off with the hummingbird cake for dessert. Everything was delicious and the portions are generous; we took some gnocchi and cake leftovers home and the hummingbird cake was honestly even better in the morning with some tea than it was as a post meal dessert. As far as cocktails go we got the last word, elderflower gimlet, Hemingway daiquiri, and the Five old fashioned and they were all very tasty. Total for everything before tip was around $165 and the atmosphere inside the restuarant was nice. We were seated pretty close to the kitchen so it got a little loud but was never too disruptive to conversation. All of the staff members were also super friendly and attentive!

Take your money elsewhere. Nothing wrong with the service and it’s a cool spot but paying that amount for bland, unsalted food is absolutely outrageous.

Pros:
Good service
Good cocktails, but went down the street and got a better one for the same price
Cool setting
Scratch Kitchen, good to know what’s going into the food

Cons:
Food was awful. Not sure if the chef was having an off night but genuinely cannot recall tasting salt at any point throughout the 4 dishes we tried. Ruined the experience beyond a point that good service and a cool atmosphere could make up for.
Admittedly didn’t verify, but almost positive they charge an additional $2 to split a salad. What a joke. Way better off going to Abigail street and paying the same amount for a much better meal.
