I was soooo shocked when I found out the place was no more because this place was my absolute favorite Japanese restaurant in Vegas.

First time eating here and let me tell you, this place is awesome! Nice elegant decor, I loved the private style booths they seat you at. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. My favorite is the avocado treasure chest, so good. Oh are our server Ashley was very friendly, great service!

Upon entering we a greeted by smiling, attentive staff. We are seated together in very nice booth. The staff was attentive to our every need and very knowledgeable to any questions we had on the menu. We ordered a few appetizers – takoyaki and uni valcano; both were fantastic and fresh.

Our main course we shared the 24 piece nigiri assorted platter and it was on point. All the fish was fresh and served on a perfect amount of rice, really high lighting the excellent flavor of the fish.

Easily one of the best sushi and authentic Japanese cuisine restaurants in town. We will definitely be back and thank you for making the food you do!

Don’t be misled by its current 4.6-star rating: This restaurant deserves 5 stars (or beyond). If you are looking for authentic Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend this one to you.

These were what we ordered: A small boat of sashimi (3 pc x 6 kinds, including salmon, tuna, red snapper, octopus, etc.), one 8-pc nigiri set, two sets of salmon belly sashimi (Wednesday special: 50% off on salmon or salmon belly sashimi), uni sushi (sea urchin, 2 pc), shrimp tempura (3 pc), agedashi tofu, and seaweed chazuke.

The seafood was of extraordinary quality, very fresh and sweet. We loved the sea urchin – it’s not fishy but full of a flavor of ocean, like it was just harvested and shipped straight from the beach. The tempura had a crispy surface but the shrimp was flaky.

I could say a lot of good things, but I’ll let you explore the gourmet by yourself. You’ll be as amazed as I am.

I have tried many Japanese restaurants, but this place is by far the best! I recommend anyone to stop by here. They have fantastic service, food is fresh, and the atmosphere is amazing. There is an incredible amount of options on the menu, especially the drinks!

Came here due to the great reviews and we eat Japanese food regularly in Asia and in CA. The restaurant is pretty good size, with sushi bar and tables, interesting decor. Ordered 12 pieces nigiri, tempuras udon and some appetizers. OMG! They were not good at all! Not sure why our review is so different than others. The udon soup was so salty, even the udon changed color and barely was ateable! It was expensive with just 3 small shrimps. The nigiri’s quality was not good either and with so much rice and too wet. Very disappointed!

Random chance and proximity was how I lucked upon this incredible sushi spot while visiting Vegas…phenomenal ambiance indoors, very kind and friendly service but most importantly above that…the high quality and creativity of the fish.

We delighted in the Death Note: a slightly seared scallop treasure. Try the house made ginger sauce marinated Hamachi…oh my…it got better…Salmon carpaccio with an olive oil and vinegar dip mixture sealed the deal.

Fantastic drinks menu, even the Miso was stunning. Lovely selection of handrolls too.

This is a must-return-to restaurant the next time I am in Vegas….

Overrated and overpriced. The quality/freshness of sushi fell short of my expectation. Uni sushi tasted too fishy and salmon roe sushi was way too salty. And the one between salmon and tuna sushis in the picture tasted like a kitchen detergent, wondered if it was supposed to be tasted like that. Also, since there’re too many options in the food menu, had a bit of time to choose the right one and couldn’t know what they were good at.

Sweet staff and charming chef. Large variety menu and nice happy hour choices. Not high end sushi in terms of quality and presentation, instead you get fresh fish at a grade that matches the reasonable price. The noticeably low grade nori was hard to take for a Japanese palate, but I imagine it’s not an issue for most local guests who order heavily sauced rolls and entrees.

Great spot for great sushi selection. Some plates are tapas sized for either a light meal or an opportunity for variety. Great service and accommodating staff.
