The food is good and you get a great portion in the platter, you will definitely have leftovers. My complaint is that the service is terrible. I have gone here more than 5 times now, and all but maybe 2 times I have had a bad experience. The building is one of those high ceiling, open ductwork kinda places, which means it is loud as heck. No sound deadening anywhere, hard surfaces abound to reverberate the horrible, loud music they always have playing on a TV. So between the loudness of the building and the glass pane + 5 feet that separates you and the employee, it is hard to hear each other. I was here about 3 weeks ago and ordered a kofta kabob platter. Then I asked for a side of pita while he was cooking my kofta. The employee though I said I wanted my kofta kabob on the side when I asked for a side of pita. I repeated myself 2 times, but he still put the meat into a small plastic container. He said he asked me and made it seem like it was all my fault, even though I repeated myself, but we obviously misheard each other, so it’s not all on me. He then acted put out that he had to make a platter and then forgot a side of sauce that he charged me for. This kind of issue is what always happens to me here, maybe I don’t speak loudly enough, but I shouldn’t have to yell at you to order and don’t make it my fault you didn’t hear me. I wish it was better, but I don’t miss the food enough to ever return. The building choice is definitely wrong for that kind of set up, maybe if they added a ceiling it would be better, but the attitudes would still have to be worked on.

I’ve eaten here twice, and both times, the food was delicious! I got the combo lamb and chicken over rice both times with white sauce. The white sauce is creamy and garlicky, it could make a shoe taste good! This time, I also tried the green sauce it’s like liquid cilantro and vinegar. Very good! The employees are quick and courteous. Great place!

Worst experience ever. I tried this restaurant and ended up extremely sick. The food tasted off, and shortly after eating I spent almost an hour in the bathroom vomiting. This place completely ruined my day. I definitely do NOT recommend it ❌❌❌❌

Our party of 9 people had mixed reviews. Chicken wings are WAY too salty. The basmati rice tasted like plastic. Gyros were the best option. Chicken cheese steak was dry shaved meat. The customer service was not the best and they had limited English. The white sauce in the chicken gyro meat was very delicious.

Anytime I order there’s either something missing or they give me small portions compared to all the other photos I see on here. Never consistent. Their white sauce packet also came with a dirty film on it and it’s water, not creamy and smelled sour.

I had a platter of chicken with rice and salad. The chicken was spicy (not hot but with Indian/Pakistani style) the way I like it.
But the rice was hard (not cocked properly), I did not like it.
This platter would have been perfect if it was with correctly prepared Basmati rice. No rice beats Basmati.

I can’t say enough positive things about Shah’s! The food is always fresh and sooooo delicious! And they never skimp on portions! The chicken platter is amazing and the green sauce is addicting! This is the most consistent and positive eating experience! Always excellent service from Alessandro!

Showed up in person on a Sunday night 40 minutes before they closed and placed an order for 15 people. My order was taken, cooked, prepped, bagged and checked out all by a single young man named Alessandro. Not only did Alessandro do everything from start to finish alone (with 3 other employees there) he did it with great customer service. As late and tired as he was he maintained his composure without a single face or complaint on any extra request I had (I.e. no white sauce or sauce on the side). Alessandro is an example of how all employees should be and Shah’s should be honored to have this young man on their staff!
P.S. I told him I got 15 drinks from the cooler and he respectfully asked to count them. Great job treating the business like it is your own Alessandro!
