Went for Valentine’s Day dinner and was shocked! The absolute BEST Indian food we’ve had in Kelowna! so much flavour! Chicken tikka starter was heavenly and juicy! Garlic naan was unreal- thin and crispy! Butter chicken was lovely and smooth- a little on the sweeter side! Coconut curry was to die for!! Will definitely be back!

I have been meaning to post this review for the last two months now, but just got to it now. We had our daughter’s Lohri party at Mavara in January this year, and we booked the entire space for couple of hours. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed the event. The team at Mavara took care of everything for us. We didn’t have to worry about the setup or takedown, it was all arranged by them. The food and service was amazing as always!!! Cannot recommend them enough. Please visit and support this local business, and have them as your next party venue. Thanks again Mavara team!!

We had the tendoori chicken, butter chicken, garlic naan and chicken briyani. They are all tasty and full of aroma. The masala tea is surprisingly not flavorful, it taste like they only add half portion of the spice. There is only one waitress so service is a bit slow. She was helpful and doing her best.

Amazing restaurant!! Had our flight canceled back to the states and happened to be staying next door, the extra night in Kelowna turned out great thanks to this place. The food is amazing, highly recommend the black pepper curry as well were told by the kind owner. The restaurant has a cozy vibe and some of the best Indian food I’ve had!
